now it's kate plus 8. i wonder if either had to pay child support since they both were on the show. wonder how john's firing will effect his lavish lifestyle. i heard rumor he might get his own show...not sure about what.

A funnier name would be "Just Kate.... plus Eight".

While she can be annoying for some reason he annoyed me more. I saw some clip where he was taking the dogs from the house and he was blaming Kate - that she was never home and did not take care of them. I thought the deal was that he was at the house when she was traveling soooooo if that is the case-why isn't he taking care of them when she is traveling?? I just do not like whiny men and he seems like a big ol' whiny crybaby.

It would be like "Just Jack!!" from the Will & Grace show.

I thought the only interesting thing on the show was the dynamic between bit**y Kate and doormatty Jon.
If it's just gonna be her carting around a bunch of kids and fussing about germs or dirt, well what's so interesting about that?

I used to like it, but I am sick and tired of both of them. In the last 3 or so years Kate got really bossy and was constantly degrading him. Jon has absolutely no backbone.
I'm not blaming either one, it was both their fault.

I liked their show before the move to the bigger house they own now. My girls and I would watch together. I kinda liked the whole family dynamic (despite Kate's *****iness and John looking like this ). Now I'm just sick of them both and that they need therapy. The show feels "stage-y" now.

Oh, they'll give him his own show - "Jon and the Floozy of the Month" or something - and people will watch it. The American public's penchant for trash tv is just unlimited. There WILL be an audience for whatever idiotic show they cook up for this person.

Give it a year and one of them will be the next Bachelor. Then in 10 years those kids will be on "True Life: My parents used me for their own selfish benefit and I'm still dealing with the repercussions."

I agree with this. I would watch it occasionally when they would have a bunch of shows all together. But now it just feels creepy.

Never watched the show. Glad I haven't wasted even a minute on it. The most I do is poke my head into threads here about them. Oh, and listen to my family talk about it, sometimes.

I've never seen an episode of it either, but they are difficult people to avoid. I get most of my information from the Star - it comes as part of our Sunday paper!

I'm STILL sick of them all, even the kids. I don't care if that's mean. I would like them to fade away.

This, except I really don't know anything about the kids, except that they exist. All the gossip, all the drama is about the parents. And frankly, I DON'T CARE about J&K. I do wish those kids well, I just don't want to hear about them or their parents anymore.

I wonder if it was much of a decision for TLC?

Like if his name had been Nate and her name was Betty, would they have chosen him instead??

I saw last night that he has stopped divorce proceedings?????!!! And his lawyer put out a statement saying he made bad decisions (like saying he could not stand Kate in an interview and being seen all over creation with other women). I wonder what that is all about???

Gosselin spills to In Touch Weekly,

"I regret my conduct since Kate and I separated...I used poor judgment in publicly socializing with other women so soon."

Moreover, the Ed Hardy aficionado has filed paperwork in an attempt to stall the dissolution of his marriage for 90 days, in order "to regain control over the future of our family."

    really Jon?

i heard about the bold in the radio this AM. as far as being seen with other women, i think it was more about the being seen publically, not about the dating all those women.

i wonder what is more expensive in this case. Child support for 8 kids, or the alimony Kate would have to pay Jon for making money off the show, since she has the staring role? Nevermind, i dont really care!

    what happened to that petition!!??!!

I never watched the show on a weekly basis. At the end of the season when they showed the marathons, I'd watch. I thought the children were cute but hated seeing the parents. Bossy women and hen pecked men are such a messy dynamic. I hadn't watched in a few years.

    The show should be cancelled.

Used to watch this show quite a bit. The kids were cute and I found Jon and Kate's bickering and treatment of each other entertaining. Not to mention...and I hesitate to say this....I actually thought Jon was a cutie. *shame* But that was before. Never has my estimation of a human being dropped so quickly, drastically and completely.

A year ago I thought, "Poor guy, looks how she treats him!" But now I see what's up. He's disgusting and ridiculous. What kills me is how he loves to talk about spending time with the kids when they seem to rarely be around him -- even when he's at the family home! I think it was TMZ that showed him on his RTV tooling around and when the camera guy asked what he was up to Jon was like, "Just spending time with my kids," but his kids were nowhere to be seen! LOL!

And now he wants to save his marriage...could it be because less time on the show = huge pay cut? Ugh....go away.

That fits right in with the passive-aggressive-pissy-baby behavior he has always displayed. What a wimp. I suspect he has no testicles.
