I get Prevention, but I don't know why since I never ordered it nor do I pay for it. That being said, they do have some really good recipes and nutrition information in them.

i used to subscribe health and while i liked the articles i completely didn't like ALL drug advertisements. they must be a major source of income to that magazine. i cancelled my subscription and now only read their stuff on-line usually via cnn.com health articles.

i never had prevention but i've looked at in the dr. office or whatever.

i DO subscribe to women's health. i LOVE it but it's very fitness/exercise oriented. they "health" stuff is in the form of little snippets of info. enough to tell you the results of research and/or studies but you'd almost certainly have to do additional research if you wanted to really know about anything but it's perfect for keeping me in the loop on the latest research/trends.

Prevention also has tons of drug ads with the patient info page(s) following the ad.

A big focus on exercise/fitness with gorgeous bodies is a turn-off to me. With Prevention, I've noticed they throw in the exercise/fitness stuff with a variety of body types, so I don't find the info as intimidating. That's just me.
