Aura Cherry Almond Bark Conditioner

I read somewhere that it no longer has silicones, so I just bought this from Sallys for the first time.

I love it! It has great slip and moisture-a hard combination to find. It does not weigh down my fine hair. And, yep-no silicones.

Here's what it looks like. It's now in a brown tube: http://www.sallybeauty.com/cherry-almond-conditioner/SBS-623451,default,pd.html

Oh yeah Jusduit recommended the Aura condish on this thread. It'll be interesting to see what hair types do well with this. I used to use the Aveda version years ago.

I used this when it had cones and didn't love it. I love the new formula! It's very moisturizing and easy to work through hair for CO washing. Will definitely repurchase this.

Ok curls2grow and shannon. You guys tried this as a rinse out and it wasn't moisturizing enough?

Oh Ok, so you use the same Condish to Co-wash as your rinse out then? :) I do the same thing I don't care for the Suaves or VO5's as my co-wash.

Yes, I only use one conditioner for CO washing and/or rinse-out. Whether it's thick or thin in consistency. One step and that's it for me. :) And the Aura CAB works great for this!

For some people (including me) Panthenol can have some of the same affects as protein. This is not true for everyone though and I didn't have any of those issues with this conditioner.

RCC is another panthenol hater. Lucky for me I don't seem to have problems with it but I don't seek it out either. BRHG has it and I would DIE without BRHG!

So I bought 2 tubes of this today at Sally's. Love the smell! It worked excellent so far for my daughter. It was a dream to detangle (but I also bought that Mebco comb someone recommended--that thing is awesome!) and her hair seems pretty soft right now. We did a pre-poo treatment before with EVOO, Coconut Oil, and Honey and that probably helped too.

So far so good and I got it on sale 2/$10. If I continue to like it I'll buy more this week before it goes off sale. Thanks for recommending this!!

Ooh, it's on sale now? Thanks for the tip! I've been using it for about a month now and I really like it. I use it for detangling (I also use & love the Mebco detangling comb) and as a leave in. I'm getting good results pairing it with the Ecostyler crystal gel (also from Sally's). Yay for Sally's!
2-something? Coarse, medium underneath. Mid-back. On CG since 5/9/07.
Washing COs: VO5 Blackberry, Suave Cherry
Detangle and leave-in: Sally's GVP Conditioning Balm -- I found my HG CO!
    Seal with camellia oil
    Leave-in: Aura cherry almond
    Gels: Homemade FSG, Eco-styler
Plus: SOTC or smooth with camellia oil, JC Nourish & Shine
    Homemade food-based DTs

I recently started working this into my rotation, and love it too. I just wish it came in a larger quantity, I am going through my tube really fast. Has anyone seen it in bigger bottles?

It's funny-I love products with B5 (panthenol) probably because it makes my hair feel fuller/thicker.

Shannon35- I just love your curls...I am so jealous (in a good way) How do you get such tight ringlets? Mine are spiraling much better with the longer my hair gets, but you have great definition and shine. Total ENVY! :)

But, I love this Aura Cherry Almond Bark Rev. Conditioner...but the Sally's near me, always runs out! I buy at least two at a time when they are in stock (and hopefully on sale!)
    Mix of 3A and 3B
Wash: Recently changed to using low sulfate shampoos. I love it. My hair needs all residue removed to get any volume.
    Conditioner: Kinky Curly Knot today
Styler: AG Recoil (I have eliminated everything but AGRecoil. My hair has tons of volume and bounce.)
In high humidity: a dime/nickle size of gel lightly scrunched on the canopy. FINALLY I found a way that doesn't kill my hair volume.

I am actually loving this conditioner. I have been using it for a week and I can't believe how soft and moisturized it makes my hair. The glycerin initially concerned me, and I can usually tell after the second day that my hair is not reacting well. Usually I get great curl on the first day and then dryness sets in and I have to stop. But not so with the Aura. I got it last week for 2 for $10 and I am really hoping that I am able to use this throughout the colder months. Plus, the smell is really nice.

I purchased this back in July based on recs here. It was just a little too heavy for me this summer. Plus, I was having a awful time with my hair anyway this summer that I'm looking forward to trying it once again. I'm going to add it to my rotation starting tomorrow. It does smell heavenly!

Not crazy about the parabens in this condish, but I've used it years ago and loved the smell. I might pick it up just for an occasional deep treatment.

Well, as a PJ enabler, I must say this condish works equally as well on my fine, thin hair as it does on my daughters fine-coarse and very thick hair. Out of all the condish bottles in the bathroom (and believe me there are a LOT!) this is one of the few that we can both use.

Normally if it works for me it isn't heavy enough for her or doesn't contain enough slip for her--and if it works for her it is far too heavy for my hair on a regular basis. We both love this one! I think the only condish's we both use are Giovanni Tea Treat and [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Oyin-Honey-Hemp-Conditioner-p-860.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=oyin-honey-hemp-conditioner]Oyin Honey Hemp[/buylink].
