GF Soft Curl Cream

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone here has ever tried the Garnier Soft Curl Cream. If so what was your experience like? Please help me before I buy yet another product, which may only end up upsetting me!

Is that stuff waxy? because i used stuff from garnier and it just gave me these little flakes/white things all over. :roll: when i wasnt cg i loved the shampoo/conditioner. they were a fave.

Same thing happened to me.
It works nice but then it gets stuck on spots and people are like "Did you get glue or something in your hair?"

I used it before CG and it really enhanced my curls, On the jar it says that you are suppose to rub it between your palms, until it is white and stringy and then put it in your hair. And on the GF website there is a demo on how to do it. I stopped using it because it is not CG, but alot of curlies here like it

I wonder if I wasn't applying it right, but I never got great results from it. My curls were stringy and I still got frizz.

I've been using it. Personally, I like it. I found if I used to much, however, it made my hair feel producty, and in some spots, really greasy. Everytime I use it, I use about a quarter sized amount for my whole head.

i used it before, i didn't like it. It makes ur hair dull and is pretty heavy so it weighs it down. And if you dont rub it in well u can see white stuff in ur hair so u end up just rubbing and messing up ur hair.

Curls are hot

I tried it yesterday, and it was FANTASTIC. It weighed down my hair (which is exactly what I need) and it made my curls look shiny and nice

I love this stuff, it's my favorite product right now. If you use it right, you actually dont get that white flaky stuff. I used to get that all the time with different gels and such, it was annoying and looked like i just had bad dandruff or something, yuck. But this stuff paired with GF Curl shaping spray gel works perfectly for me. I use about a quarter size on each side of my head, i have very thick 3a/2b hair. You should really give it a try.

i've used the stuff on my waves, i don't know if i used it wrong, but every time i use it, my hair just doesn't respond well. it leaves this kind of icky feeling after i diffuse it, like it's way to dry and waxy. here's a picture of when i used it

i got one good curl in the front and the rest kinda sucked... if you do get it, i recommend almost completely drying your hair naturally before you do it, because if it's still too wet the product won't set right, but if it's too dry your hair might not take to the product at all and leave it a waxy mess.

(sorry it's negative but i thought i'd let you know anyway ^_^)

i liked this stuff for a while and i found it made my hands sticky so i couldnt get it through my hair. i really liked the smell though and i think it helped my curls but i dunno...........
