Ecostyler vs KCCC with pics

Alright, so i typically use [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Knot-Today-p-207.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-knot-today-leaveindetangler]KCKT[/buylink], [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] and BRHG which produce results like the 2nd bottom picture of me in the blue shirt. The top picture (in scrubs) is my first attempt using KCKT, Ecostyler Krystal and BRHG. This picture was even taken after working 12 hours on a busy psych unit. I got many compliments on my hair that day at work. My hair has also never held up so long before. I think i like the Ecostyler better!!! It gave me more defined results and did not shrink my hair as much. It is also much cheaper and dried faster than [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]!!!:thumbright: I used the same routine both days besides the switch-a-roo between [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] and Ecostyler. A big THANKS to all those curlies who reviewed Ecostyler and convinced me to go pick up a tub...... What do you guys think?

Your comparison pics are great! I think I am definitely checking out the Ecostyler Krystal when I start running low on [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink].

Does Ecostyler have alcohol in it, or more alcohol (higher up in ingredient list) than [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]? Wondering, because I know my hair dries faster if a product has more alcohol in it.

The eco styler that i use is the krystal one and it has no alcohol. RM i like both pics....guess on days when you want to retain some length use the eco, days you want to be curly swirly use the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]kccc[/buylink]:thumbright:, either way its still pretty:cheese:

Thanks fellow curly girls!!! I never thought i would get such great results from a $3.00 hair product. I have tried all the cheap drug store brands and none worked well with the exception of HESMU which i use to put my hair up!! I should mention that i scrunch ecostyler into soaking wet hair in the shower....i do the same with all my other products as well as this seems to cut down on frizz. I know this is a certain procedure and has a name on this board but I cannot remember what it is called...lol....i just know it works well for me.....

Beautiful hair! I notice that the ecostyler makes you look cheerier and makes your eyes bluer, too! :happy4:

I'm getting really good results with it, too. I get better hold and less frizz than with [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] and I think it is more curl-enhancing. I also add it to sopping wet hair and I pour more water over my hair to get it to clump after I brush it through.

It seems very moisturizing. Feels plasticky going on but leaves my hair soft and shiny once it dries & I scrunch. Really a terrific product, and an amazing bargain!

FABULOUS COLOR!!! I love red curls (though I'm slightly biased... heh). Your hair is gorgeous in both photos, but does look better with the EcoStyler gel. I'm currently broke, so no danger of me going out to buy this anytime soon, but I'll have to keep this in mind for future reference. Thanks for posting, you're lovely. :)

Great pictures! I'm also a biased red hair lover -- your hair reminds me of mine..... if mine were PERFECT!

I think your hair looks lovely in both, but the first pic does seem to show more shine and absolutely no frizz. Wow.

Okay, here is the fine haired wavy girl weighing in on ecostyler. My goodness that is a huge tub.

I'm not really sure how I feel about it. I've used [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] quite a few times, and I have to say that Ecostyler performed similarly. I will second what the other ladies say, in that you get more volume with Eco, but more hold with [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]. I have to say though, that the hold (even with my favorite gel on top) wasn't enough. I will have to try it again with a different gel on top and see if I can get more hold, but with my hair I think that's a lost cause. I have to find a balance between hold and product.

I guess in the end I have to say it weighed my hair down, but didn't have enough hold to keep it wavy. I'll have to try it again with BHRG on top instead of my regular gel.

Anyway, it was worth a shot for 2.99 lol. Still not gonna swap it out just yet, but sorta not feelin the ecostyler love. I wonder if my hubby will like it? LOL.
