protein free conditioner

Anyone have recs for a protein free conditioner or styling products? I'm currently using jessicurl products and my hair is frizzy and no definition. It looks better when it's wet than dry.

I was having a similar problem to you. A week ago, I started using Yes to Cucumbers conditioner, and I really like it. My hair is much softer now. It has all natural ingredients. There is also Yes to Tomatoes and Yes to Carrots conditioners, but it looks like the Carrots one has dimethicone in it.

Here are the ingredients for Yes to Cucumbers conditioner:

Aqua (Water), Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Extract*, Cetearyl Alcohol, Peucedanum Graveolens (Dill) Extract*, Capsicum Annuum (Green Pepper) Extract*, Maris Aqua (Dead Sea Water), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil*, Magnesium Chloride, Chamomilla Recutita (Camomile) Extract*, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil*, Brassica Oleracea (Broccoli) Extract*, Benzyl Alcohol, Spinacia Oleracea (Spinach) Extract, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil*, Calendula Officinalis Oil*, Maris Limus (Silt) Extract, Cucumis Melo (Melon) Extract*, Parfum (Fragrance), Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil*, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate Peel) Extract*, Lactic Acid, Centaurea Cyanus, Beta Vulgaris (Beetroot) Extract*, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract*, Dehydroacetic Acid.

I also rotate conditioners. I still use Suave Coconut once in a while because I really like it, but I also use Suave Naturals Aloe and Waterlily cond. I don't believe it has any protein in it. Here are the ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Fragrance (Parfum), Distearyldimonium Chloride, Disodium EDTA, DMDM Hydantoin, Tocopheryl Acetate [Vitamin E Acetate], Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Propylene Glycol, Honeysuckle Extract, Methylisothiazolinone, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice [Aloe Vera]\\, Yellow 5, Blue 1.

I use Herbal Essences Set Me Up Gel - no protein in it. This is nice and light and smells pretty.
Hair Type - wavy/curly, fine texture, thin/medium density

If you're looking for deep conditioner, I just used Biolage Conditioning Balm today and LOVED IT. My hair was so dry and thirsty but now it feels much better! :love10:

For regular every day rinse out, I like Yes to Cukes as well, and Burt's Bees Super Shiny and Nexxus Color Ensure (no cones in either one). I've heard people really like Burt's Bees More Moisture too, but I haven't seen it around so I haven't tried it yet.

Oh yeah, and a GREAT one is Nature's Gate Aloe Vera. It is really moisturizing and has no protein. I get it at the grocery store and it's fairly inexpensive.
