What's on ur "never again" product list & What's on ur "wish list"?

Just curious as to what has not been working for us eurocurlies and what we wish could get our hands on. Here are my lists:

NEVER AGAIN
1) Aloe vera gel- makes my hair hard and crunchy

2) AOHR condish- bizzarly leaves my hair thirsty once it has dried

3)Pure shea butter - does nothing to my hair

4) Pure coconut oil - supposedly this is the only oil that can penetrate the hair shaft but it just sits on my hair and does nothing at all


5) Pink Boots - the love affair has ended in disaster!

6)anything from Pantete - makes my hair dry and frizzy

7) Plant powders that you can wash your hair with, like, shikaki and alma - they leave bits in my hair that then make my scalp itch.

8)Olive Oil - very nasty just makes my hair dry and brittle

9) Banana and honey homemade hair mask - i get amazing curls definition with this, but i then have to spend days picking banana bits out of my hair!

10) hair grease - gives my itichy scalp and pimples!

I'm sure there's more will add as i remember

WISH LIST
A range of curl care products that really work for eurocurly hair, taking into consideration our specific environmnetal factors . Natural Curls is ading more products to their range, but we need more companies like Natural Curls in Europe!

Wow! Thanks a lot for that tip, gonna try it again this weekend - wonder if you can get baby avaocado puree too?

My baby loves pureed avaocado:love4:!

I think they would have to put an acidity regulator in it to sell it as baby food - it oxidises really quickly - much better fresh.

Yep, i second that. Never again, KCCC and KCKT. Also, CJCCC - it just left my hair thirsty, parched actually.

Yes - me too!

Applied the KCKT in the shower and went from soft smooth hair to hard hair with no natural slip at all. It was horrifying and I got really scared that something terrible had happened and my hair had been permanently damaged!

I am so glad to finally find someone who had a similar experience with KCKT... was beginning to think I was the only one...

It was really oily and the grease sat on top of my hair for a while and killed my curls turning them into poofy frizz.

Much prefer other CJ products.

Yep! I had to rinse and apply loads more condish - even then it didn't feel 100% till the next time I cowashed! I really don't know why. The only thing I can think of is that I had just used AOHR, which is oil rich. I'd rinsed the AOHR out, and was attempting to use the KCKT as a leave in. I'm thinking that the KCKT reacted with the oils left behind from the AOHR.
I suppose I could have tried using it straight after cowashing - to see how hair felt - but it freaked me out so much :shock: I put it up on the swap board for sale!

Exactly the opposite for me, softest hair, best slip. Im so fine,every leave in, needs a quick rinse through of about 3 seconds.Im in socal with very hard water.
