Lush brand Henna: Have you ever tried it?

I want to try Henna on my hair. Do you like it or hate it?

I have a brand I'm curious to know more about made by a company called Lush. Link is below.

Has anyone ever tried it? Do you love it or hate it?

What is this Amla stuff that is talked about and where do you find it?

I read the reviews and everyone seems very happy with the results. I was just wondering and hoping if anyone here has tried it and what you thought of it.

Thanks in advance for all of the replies.

I used the red one once. Let it sit for 8 hours, and it did colour my hair a little bit. Problem is that I have dark brown hair, and I've been permanent dying it red for years, so the henna-d colour, while nice [and super shiny] just didn't stand up to the existing red. I still had roots, basically.

However, if you hair is all one colour right now and not too dark, it is nice. Just be warned, it's wicked messy and takes a long time. But it feels awesome afterwards and it does get a nice little touch of colour.
