Ok so I am starting to see more reviews for the Bed Head Moisture Maniac conditioner. Does anyone use it? Is it really moisturizing?

Like it? Ummm, how about love it! :blob4:

It's one of my holy grails. It also works great as a leave-in under my beloved ecostyler krystal clear gel. Plus, I can find this on the ground and avoid shipping costs. I'm a happy camper.

You should do a search on this, you'll get many hits. :)

I just started using it in the last 3 or 4 weeks and I love it. I alternate with [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Coconut-Sublime-Moisturizing-Conditioner-p-880.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Coconut-Sublime-Moisturizing-Conditioner]Curls Coconut Sublime[/buylink] and Tigi's Comfort Food (?) condish with oatmeal and honey but I find myself using the Moisture Maniac more and more. It's fabulous and detangles great. Nice scent, too. I've already repurchased. And yes, being able to get it at the local beauty shop rather than waiting for it to ship is very nice.

I would love to love this....the smell:love7:, the consistancey:love7:, the detangling:love7:, all fantastic BUT for me it left a waxy feeling. Maybe that means my hair is mosturized with it I'm not sure. Maybe I'll try it again.

Either way it's really worth a try.

I heard some people saying that is builds up after a while on the hair, but other than that it is an excellent conditioner. Is it easy to remove the build up with a clarifying shampoo or ACV?

I love Tigi moisture maniac :love7:
Its my staple conditioner. I craify once a fortnight but don't really have an issue with build-up.

Unfortunately, it did nada for my hair. No moisturization, no detangling, nothing.

i like it. it has a good detangling ingredient in it. i can't find it at ulta (where i usually get it) and it's not on the tigi website so i wondered if it was discontinued.

I just went to the site and it is still there along with the other Bed Head products. It's on the second page of products for bed head. I to scared for a minute there, LOL I was getting ready to try some but I didn't want to try something that was going to be discontinued.

This is my holy grail rinse out conditioner. Nothing else compairs for the price. About 4x a year, Ulta has the tweens (25oz bottles with the pump) on sale for $9.99 (they usually run about $24.99) and I stock up! Last sale I brought like 6 bottles.

I use it as a cowash and a rinse out. It detangles nicely, has great slip, and is thick and rich so you don't have to use a lot. I use a sufate free poo about 2x a month and havn't had any problems with buildup.

Thanks for that little tip, Nappy Curly Crown. Now you have competition during the next sale!

I have tried many conditioners: cheap, organic, expensive. Nothing compares to Tigi. It detangles wonderfully, nice scent. Makes my hair feel great. I've never had buildup from it...but I've also used a cleanser on my hair regularly too, so....

I always leave about 50% of it in my hair after detangling.

It detangled really well in the shower but I found it the opposite of moisturizing once my hair was dry. Really crispy. I still have my bottle to try again. Not sure what was the issue because it has great ingredients.

I don't get any product buildup from it. IIRC, it contains silk protein. That may be your issue CKC.

I love this conditioner too. Good slip, I alternate with YTC and TJ conditioner. Can't get enough. Hell, where I live, I can go into the grocery store and they sell it on a regular basis. Matter of fact, I go into Costco and they have the 2 liter size for like $20. I'm like, score!

I tried this for the 1st time in August when Ulta was having the 9.99 sale. I like the way it glides into my hair and does not sit on top the way most conditioners do because of my thick 4b hair. It smells good too.

Man my hair is protein sensitive, so I am even scared to try it. Every time I try a product with protein in it my hair gets rock hair, surprisingly my hair does not react to collagen, so maybe it's just vegetable proteins that my hair can't handle.
