if you go to their website and look at their products, the products for "perfect" hair show a picture of straight hair!  and the kinky hair isn't even kinky! and they believe the way to fix it is straighten it!

Ugh, how disgusting. They make it sound like curly hair can't be perfect...give me a break
Mostly 3c and lovin' my curls

This is not a fashion trend, it's not a statement, it's pride for who we are and what we look like. And that is where our true beauty shines.

I really don't see what the problem is. Straight hair is much less likely to have the problems that wavy and curly hair has (such as crazy frizz and poof) so it's natural to have it as the "perfect" hair. It's pretty clear just by looking through these forums that some people HAVE to use hundreds of dollars worth of products a month to get their curls perfect. Most straight haired girls that I know use no products and Suave shampoos and conditioners and their hair is flawless.

Straight hair is no better than curly hair, and vice versa. They're just different.

Um, I'm confused. Is straight hair perfect and curly hair not, or is neither one better and they're just different? You seem to have said both things...Could you clarify a bit? Thank you! :D

Ok, that makes sense. So according to your (skewed) logic, because wavy and curly hair don't have the same problems of straight hair (such as limp lifelessness), curly hair is obviously the perfect hair.

Frankly, I don't really know anyone, straight or curly, who uses nothing but Suave shampoos and conditioners. (Anyway, who here is using "hundreds of dollars worth of products a month"???) Most women I know with straight hair have invested in mousses and hairsprays, and spend lots of time with the blowdryer- all in the quest to add some volume and life to their tresses. And not many have "flawless" hair, either.

That last sentence is certainly correct, but like Wild Sasparilla said, it contradicts everything you said in the first paragraph.

Yes they do, if you look at the frizz line it specifies for wavy or curly hair.

I followed the "not sure what products" questions, answered that I have perfect hair and they brought me to a picture of a girl in the shower with straight hair! UGG!
3A, Pureology Hydrate Shampoo & Conditioner,
CatWalk Curls Rock, air dry then scrunch to lose the "crunchy" look.

If you go to "products" and highlight the purple person, it says, "For hair that kinks and waves that refuses to stay straight."

How about that? All my life I've had straight hair and I didn't even know it! The problem was that it wouldn't STAY straight! Duh.
