I think these are ok for silicone free....?

I just decided today that I am going to try to go CG. I've been using frizz ease and Curls Rock and more often than not I end up with droopy hair and I'm sick of it. I saw the before/after thread and I WANT THAT HAIR! I found these products that I think do not have anything but water soluble silicones- I have read that a cone with a PEG prefix is water soluble and thus okay to use. I copied the ingredients, would anyone be kind enough to confirm if I got it right?

Yay! I got it right. I wasn't sure if I had missed any in the herbal essences, aussie & garnier products. That was my big question. I have a friend with straight hair and she wants to know if this would help her dry hair. Do you think it could?
I even gave up my new bottle of tigi & my gigunga hairbrushes. I'm excited about this!

Btw how do I create a signature?
    Thanks!

Eta: I think I will try dr bronners bar soap for a shampoo if I must. I'd like to stick with the co wash though if I can.

    to create a signature:
    1. sign in
    2. click on curl talk link
    3. click on USER PC
    4. You should see a control panel and underneath settings and options is edit signature
    5. click on that and write in whatever you like :)

    hope that helps

Be careful with the Garnier - it has mineral oil (petroleum) that builds up on most people and requires multiple sulfate washes to remove. It seems some people don't have a problem, but the majority of people who are CG avoid this ingredient.

Also, the alcohol denat in the Aussie hairspray is very drying - especially because it is listed as the first ingredient. Hairspray is also generally avoided because of this ingredient. You can get the same effect with a spray gel. Garnier's Curl Shaping Spray gel is CG.

thanks to all three of you :) I'll keep in mind about the mineral oil...I wasn't planning to use the 3 minute undo conditioner every day anyway, just periodically. I tried the hairspray today and I'm not crazy about how my hair feels which is prob not shocking...I'll try more gel next time. I like how my hair came out today with the new products, I just need to figure out how much I need to use. Eventually I'll try other stuff too I'm sure.
    Thanks!
