Isn't it nice when guys appreciate your hair?
in Curly Teens
Most of my guy friends don't really notice hair except in the sense of "oh, your hair is curly" and "her hair is straight". Like, if I do something different with it they don't even notice. And a couple of them prefer straight hair. But the other day I was chatting with one of my guy friends (he's a curly too!) on Facebook and he said:
"I just have to tell you that I love your hair. It's so perfect. Like, seriously...I'm in love with your hair."
:laughing6:
If he ever asks me out I am so saying yes. We can get married and have lots of curly babies, LOL.

There's one guy I know who is CONSTANTLY playing with/"petting" my hair (bothers me, but if I'm planning on washing it soon anyways I let him). A few times he's even made comments like "Are those... light streaks in your hair??" (speaking of my natural highlights) and he always talks about how he wants to have my hair :sign5:
Another guy... he's a curly... likes to talk about hair. It kinda cracks me up. He's always like... "We have just about the same hair"
... which isn't actually true, his hair is fine and 3b while mine is coarsecoarseTHICK and 3a/b.
but it's the thought that counts, eh?

I've yet to actually hear a compliment about my actual hair, and not the colour.
I only get compliments on my wavy/curly hair when I actually say something about it first, so we'll see.

Type 3b/c hair
I find myself with less respect for those who straighten their hair constantly or have relaxers or whatever else is out there. I believe that if your hair is curly, wavy, or straight, your hair is beautiful as is. There are non-damaging solutions for frizz or split ends or whatever. You don't have to burn it flat or fry it with chemicals to look "good." People say love the skin you're in, same goes for hair.

Avoiding humectants and protein!
None of my guy friends ever compliment my hair, only one of them like to play with it LOL!
