Curly metal singer...??

in Curly Teens
Hi everyone
I LOVE metal music and I want my style to reflect that. When I wore my hair straight in an inverted bob, it was quite easy(I just needed black eyeliner 8-) )...now that I wear it curly, people always say that I look too cute for a metal singer (yea I also sing). It's really frustrating... :sad5:
Do you have any tips for me not to look "too cute"?
Thanks in advance :blob4:

Although the ex-nightwish singer has a few curly photos.. but you could try a cut a bit like hers

Also sirenia's new singer

even though they do curl their hair you could probably copy these sorta looks for your own hair.. i'd advice no bangs but have a V shape cut if your going metal (I did that but with the bangs which did look girly)
make sure to manage your frizz too.. i learnt the hard way.
my hair: 2c when healthy,
damaged and dry,
low elasticity
Method For Styling: Rake and Shake. And Let Air Dry.

A few years ago,I experimented with "metal looks" (god how I hate this term!).Back then I brushed my hair and wore it in buns, simply bleh.
Actually, when I started CG,my hair got much better.
The point is I have curls some people call "english curls",the ones you see on porcelain dolls

And,well, you can imagine that with my combat boots look-alikes:toothy9:
So,after a while I started to feel uncomfortable in all this tomboyishness and the fact I look funny with my curls,so I switched to clothing that makes me look "she-looks-like-a-30-ties-lady-but-has-some-dark-avantgarde-influence-I-think-she-listens-to-Siouxsie-and-the-banshees-gotta-ask".(I can´t explain, you can actually feel I´m not exactly a pop from my clothing, but you can´t tell why) And I love to shock them when they ask what music I like!
Though,I have performed live as a second vocalist, and I know that wrong image can ruin the whole effect, all the work can be thrown in the bin.
I would love to help you out a little, but I will need you to give me some info.
What kind of metal do you like/sing?What type of curls you have?
Also,Domino,are you a boy or a girl???
Simply, tell me more about it,so I can help.
Because all of the people post some images, here you are with some curly headbangers.

Thanks everyone for your replies, those curls really made me feel better
-I have classical singing training, that's why I LOVE symphonic metal like Nightwish or Epica.
-I have loose APL botticelli curls, they're a dark irish setter color...and because I have very pale skin, people say I look like a porcelain doll rather than a metal singer.
-Well, I'm a girly girl, a mezzo-soprano to be exact :female:
