My hair laughed at the Sedu. Ok granted I did go through pretty quickly but my hair looks like I just blow dried it. The ends are yucky, yucky, yucky. I'm 4A/4B combination. I'm thinking about sending it back.

How did you prep your hair beforehand?

yep, i got it. it works great! it's a lot quicker than the chi and doesn't seem to cause as much damage. my hair also stays straighter longer!! i like it, but it wasn't AS great as i'd hoped. but it's pretty good.

i washed my hair, deep conditioned, applied a leave-in and a heat protectant, air dryed it in large twists over night. the next morning, i zapped any damp parts with the blow dryer. then i applied more heat protectant as i flat ironed it. i went over the hair again that evening b/c it was so bushy for a total of two passes over each piece of hair. the ends are still afroesque. any tips?

don't use heat protectant if you don't use the iron on the same day and use a leave in after you flat iron

-oil the ends :) worked like a charm when I did my sister's hair

-I wouldn't use the heat protectant overnight if your not using heat that night

    - maybe smaller twists? I heard the smaller the sections the better it straightens, but only if you have a good amount of time on your hands

    - What setting are you using?

-Maybe going through each strand with a fine-toothed comb the second time may help
