Sally Hydrating Conditioner? Is it OK?

I used Sally Hydrating Conditioner (with Shea Butter for Dry, Course Hair) that I bought from Sally's last night. I used it after my cowash, and it made my hair feel stringy and awful. I put Vive Pro in my hair as my leave in, but now it has considerably less curl than it has the last few days. Has anybody ever used it? Did I just miss something in the ingredients? Is there just something that I'm missing??

Is it super soft too? There's nothing that really stands out to me, but stearalkonium chloride is a softening agent that can cause problems for some - like overconditioning.

Does your hair feel straw-like? It could be a reaction to the wheat protein.

You might not necessarily notice the softening effect of the stearalkonium chloride if you normally use conditioners that leave you hair soft - but if it is the stearalkonium chloride that's causing the problem, it'll definitely leave your hair feeling limp and drag out the curls.
    co-wash - Suave Naturals Coconut
condish - Trader Joe's TTT and Refresh
styling - FOTE, shea butter, jojoba oil, LA Looks

    Kryptonite: Stearalkonium Chloride, quats
