New 3c

Just wanted to say hi. I finally completed my transition and am completely natural. My hair is mostly 3c/b mix.

    Hi, Celina,

I'm more of a 3C/4A mix. I did the BC this past January. (My last relaxer was Nov. '07 and I don't miss it!)

So, what have you experimented with and what seems to be working so far?

    My current faves:
Shampoo - Max Green Alchemy (organic / no sulfates, of course)
    Rinse-Out - Mill's Creek Jojoba Conditioner
    Leave-In - [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Too-Shea-Extra-Moisturizing-Conditioner-p-105.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-too-shea-extra-moisturizing-conditioner]Jessicurl Too Shea[/buylink]! mixed with Biotera Gel
For 2nd/3rd day hair I mix water with glycerin, aloe vera and small amounts of oils (Carol's Daughter, jojoba, olive... whatever I'm in the mood for) and put it in a spray bottle.

    Hi Kurlee. :)

I tried to make my regimen as simple as possible. I tried the curly girl routine but it wasn't fo me. I use conditioners with easy to remove cones.

I co wash every 2 to 3 days, and detangle under the shower with conditioner in my hair using my fingers. My hair is pretty straight when wet so it's easy to detangle. I never comb it dry. Sometimes I'll use my Sally's seamless shower comb. Rarely I'll use my denman.

My conditioners are: Pantene relaxed and natural, Aussie Moist, and Hello Hydration.

I rarely shampoo my hair. I use Nature's Gate shampoo in the orange bottle on my scalp only.

To maintain my hair for second, third, or sometimes four day hair if I'm too lazy to co wash, I put it in one loose braid at night. I haven't straightened my hair in over a year (no heat) and I air dry.

I do not use rubber bands on my hair. I use hair ties/scrunchies and sometimes my hair zing instead.
