Top of head issue

Hi all, my hair really likes plopping a lot... except the top/root area. I end up with all sorts of funky parts with scalp showing and I don't know how to make them go away. My hair is very thin and fine. Any ideas for me? Clipping it only seems to change where the funky parts are... basically my hair clumps all the way to the root
Thanks, Jackie :headbang:

I have the same problem. I've tried plopping many times, with the same result. It just doesn't work for me. I get the best hair from just scrunching with a flour sack towel, adding some gel, clipping, and air drying.

Mine is thick but I notice the wonky roots go away after awhile.

Try turning your head upside down (after your hair is all the way dry) and rubbing the roots a little so they break up and cover your scalp.

Also for me it helps to sort of part my hair - while upside down - and arrange it at the root with my fingers, sort of bending the hair at the part and in front in the right direction so the roots will be convex there, not scoopy. Then plop. I don't try to keep it all arranged but the bending it first seems to help it to know which way to go.

Well some ideas, hope this helps.
