arg, allergic reaction to curls

Both products were great, moisturizing, but they made my face and neck itch and burn like crazy! anyone else have a similar reaction? what could have caused this?
3b/3c/4a african-asian mix. Using: Herbal Essences Hello Hydration, Suave coconut condish, Aveda Sap Moss products, fantasia IC gel, some phyto products.
