I love, love, LOVE my [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Aloeba-Daily-Conditioner-p-104.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-aloeba-daily-conditioner]Aloeba conditioner[/buylink], but both times I attempted to use [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Rockin-Ringlets-Styling-Potion-p-100.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-rockin-ringlets]Rockin' Ringlets[/buylink] it left the back of my head feeling GREASY. Am I using it wrong or something? Too much product? Not applying it correctly? I scrunched my hair with a microfiber towel so it was by no means DRIPPING wet. When I watched the video on Jessicurl's site, I noticed her hair was drenched. Help! :happy3:

Hmm...I've only used the RR twice, and each time I paired it with [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Confident-Coils-Styling-Solution-p-116.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-confident-coils-styling-solution]Confident Coils[/buylink]. The 2nd time I used it I raked in two large-ish puddles of RR and one quarter's worth of CC to sopping wet, just-out-of-the-shower hair. Then I brushed both through with my Denman brush. I definitely prefer brushing both products through as opposed to just raking in the RR with my fingers, scrunching out the excess water, and then scrunching in the CC (like Jess does in her video).

Regarding the greasiness, you might have applied too much product. Can you give a more detailed description of what exactly you did?
2c-3a. Thick density. Texture = mixture of medium and fine.

Always trying to boost my curl!

Go-to products: Pink Boots, CJSG, LALSG, Abba Pure Finish gel
Experimenting with: CJAF, CJ CCCC, JCRR/CC, BRHG, PB Goo, Re:Coil, Komaza CHP, EcoStyler Protein
Didn't like: HESMU, Matrix Biolage Gelee (both too goopy)

I used a small puddle of product after I blotted my hair with my microfiber towel. I scrunched it in rather than raking it or combing it. I'm going to try applying it to my hair soaking wet in a few minutes and combing my hair with my thick tooth comb with my head flipped over and see if that makes a difference! If it doesn't, then I might need to try to find another product. So far I had a big FAIL with [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCare-Arc-AnGell-p-567.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devacare-arc-angell]Arc Angell[/buylink]. Totally dried my hair out. Maybe my hair is like Goldilocks or something. I need one that's jusssssst right.
