Water only - how long do you scrub/wash for?

pelicanopelicano Posts: 580Registered Users
I've been doing water only washes between shampoos for some time now, and before that I didn't use shampoo at all (I find a weekly shampoo helps keep my scalp healthier).

Anyway, it occurred to me yesterday that I don't think I wash my scalp for long enough with the water only washes, and I'd be interested to hear how long other water only people scrub/massage the scalp for. I guess I probably do it for a minute or so.
Sarah.

Hair loves: Drip drying, glycerine, shea butter, oils
Hair hates: Plopping, any kind of gel, most conditioners (scalp issues).

I usually scrub/massage my scalp for 2 or 3 minutes, whether with conditioner or water alone.

You could try a scalp brush. They can be found at Walgreens or Sallys for a couple dollars.

I'm sure I looked on Ebay before, but will have another look... Was it called a scalp brush when you got yours?
