3c 2nd day hair (w/ Pics)

I'm still not sure if I'm truly a 3c, I actually think I have combination 3b,3c and 4a in the middle but whatever I'm so excited I got the best 2nd day hair ever!! I co washed with Deva Care One condition then used Giovanni direct leave in straight out of the shower and nothing else...I never dreamed I could use just one product and have such great results and better yet it has no bad chemicals or anything...so excited!!!

Your hair does look like it's between categories, but most people who have a medium amount of curl seem to have a mixture. From your pictures, I'd say 3b/c. But that isn't important because your hair looks great! It has great definition and natural shine. Congrats on getting 2nd day hair!

Well I have been doing Cassia treatments for the last few weeks and I think that has really added shine. I used to have to co wash every day and then use leave in conditioner, gel and hair oil to have decent hair. I also think I put enough product on my hair now I make sure my hair is completely saturated with the leave in. It takes forever to dry but when it does it has no frizz at all. I sleep with a pineapple ponytail so the curls don't get too flat then in the morning I take it down and fluff up/scrunch for volume and add a little leave in to the front of my hair to smooth. I also think the Giovanni condt is really good for my hair, I've heard some people say they didn't like it but my hair LOVES it!!

Yes mine too, mainly because i am the wildest sleeper. i really should get satin sheets and pillowcases because my head moves around so much at night. One minute im on the pillow, next minute im on the mattress, two minutes late my head is on the pillow facing the other way. LOL. & you can forget about hairscarves or bonnets. Those come off about 30 mins after i get into REM. its a darn shame.

I never have second day hair unless it's pulled into a protective style. Yours looks great!

I feel your pain. I have no idea how I sleep, but apparently no matter what the heck I do to my hair.. it's always messy in the morning.. ranging from sticking straight up to major frizz..
