Hair Moisture Spritz

Wow, this was my first attempt at making my own hair recipe. But today when i woke i spritzed a little of this stuff on my hair and it was W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L. It got rid of alot of that second day frizz and it felt really moisturized. It worked for me, so here's the recipe if you wanna try it.

ingredients

*1 can of organic coconut milk
*1 cup of water
*3.5 tablespoons of honey
*1.5 tablespoons of olive oil
*any essential oil of choice (for scent)

instuctions

1. Put the can of coconut milk in a bowl
2. Add in the water (my water is purified so i didn't have to boil or anything) and stir until the consistency is fairly thin. (with the canned coconutmilk, there are chunks, lol.)
3. Add in your olive oil and stir again.
4. Then you add the honey.
5. As a final ingredient add 4 drops of essential oil and stir until mixture is evenly mixed.
6. Poor into an empty spray bottle (then give it a little shake).
7. Enjoy, this is my VERY first recipe so feel free to give advice. I hope if you decide to try it, it works for ya!

Sounds like it would be really nice and moisturizing, I'll have to get some coconut milk next time I'm at the store so I can give it a try. :)

i'm gonna try this today! i got me some coconut milk, olive oil and honey. but i was thinking of putting drops of lemon for clarifying. would it be okay? :dontknow: cause my hair is wavy and dry but it doesn't need too much moisturizing. i condition my hair once a week btw :toothy3:
2b/2c waves that needs deeper understanding and love :walk:

co-wash: GTTT/Sukin Nourishing Wash *once a week or when needed

condish: honey and oatmeal conditioner *once in a few days cause there is a ton of protein bleh

    style: l'oreal curls power/marc daniel's rapid curl

will be trying: curls rocks from tigi and leave in conditioner

still in search of long term beauty products and homemade concoctions. any suggestions? :happy7:

no it shouldnt be frothy at all and the oil should be barely noticeable. try adding a little less oil.

I have to say I LOVE this recipe so far!! It's a grat curl activator if you need like a refreshing spray and it's moisturising for me. It also has great hold like a spray gel but not stiff. I don't know if it's meant to do that (lol) but I love it!

the coconut milk kind of clumped up in the tube where the spray goes up and comes out (lol) so I tried it without the coconut milk and just olive oil/honey/water. it's still just as good! Thanx for the recipe xox
