Hair color lifespan help?

I just recently started coloring my hair, and I was wondering how to get the dye to last the longest?

Here's my natural hair color:

...And here's my new colors ^_^:

I dyed it with Revlon #48 Burgundy, and something from Loreal called Colour something-or-other in fuchsia.

Currently, I'm using Garnier Fructis shampoo/conditioner for colored hair, with Aussie's mousse+leave-in conditioner. I really love the color, but the last time I dyed it, it faded really badly within 2 or 3 weeks. Are there any products I can use to prevent this, or any care tips you may have? Thanks!!! :happy7:

    Hi,
The color is pretty. Red is the hardest color to keep in the hair. I would suggest finding a semipermanent in the same brand and color if you can, you can put this all over every three weeks in between coloring the re- growth. When you re touch the re growth do not pull the color through the ends, this opens up the cuticle of the hair and the color will come out faster. Only use a semipermanent on the mid length and ends. I am a stylist so I have different products than you have access to. Can you get Shades by Redken in Sally? Or beautiful reds by Clairol, this will pump your ends up with color and intensify the tone to give it that just done pop of red violet. I am not sure about your shampoo having sulphates, but if it does find something withoutand the fading will be less. Good Luck
