I went to the hairdresser today, hair didn't get styled, I left with it wet, so isn't looking too great, will look more defined when i do it, by plopping etc and keeping the clumps together. I guess i am a little disappointed- I am not sure though, he put tons of layers in.
Hopefully i will feel i like it more when i do the styling tomorrow.. but idk.. i feel it is a bit clumpy on the left side. back seems ok and he fixed some problems and toned down my highlights and left the blonde in the front.
    what do you think?

Your hair is seriously gorgeous! I think when you do it you'll like it a lot more. It's really hard to tell how the cut lays without any product etc.. So go do it with all your stuff and post more pics :)

Wow! Everyone's waves are so pretty! I just went to St. Petersburg, FL to get my hair cut by Tiffany (Struttswife). She taught me so much and I think it came out beautiful! Here's before and after...

Looks great, jennvee! When I go visit my sister in Florida, I'm totally going to get Tiffany to cut my hair.

Hi! I'm new here and I'm pretty sure I'm 2b. My hair actually looks quite a bit like whirlyhair's. I'm going to the store today to purchase some ingredients to start making my own shampoos, conditioners, and gels. In fact that's how I found this site, by doing google searches for hair recipes. I took these photos today (bad quality. I don't have a camera, just photobooth on macbook). Look forward to perusing these boards!

Hello! I've been off shampoo for around nine months, I co-wash and use a little gel. I'm not sure what type I am. What do you think? 2? Not 3, right? I've been fairly befuddled by the types since I started lurking a year ago, and I'd like to use products that are appropriate for my hair.

It's pretty soft, has some shine, but does frizz up wildly in humidity. It holds styles well (when I'm not too lazy, which...doesn't happen often). :) I took these photos this evening. This morning I co-washed and spritzed a little spray gel in, and ignored it the rest of the day--I've been packing all day, so I wasn't feeling very worried about frizz. :P

    Tips? Thoughts?
