Hi I have a 16 and 19 year old son so I understand your feeling weird about buying products. But give you a lot of credit for at least coming here and asking. LOL...my son has me asking for him :).

hahaha don't worry about it dude. People probably aren't staring you just feel like they are. But hey if they stare then so what lol. If you don't want them to know it's for you, then you could always say nonchalantly at the register "I hope that's the product my mom wanted"..you know just throw it out there randomly if you must lol

You really want to find a good detangling conditioner! The V05 and Suave Naturals are always great. Then you might want to find a rinse-out conditioner...these are generally thicker. Try L'Oreal Vive Pro Nutri Gloss for damaged hair that is wavy/curly. Pantene Beautiful Expressions, Herbal Essences Hello Hydration, Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship, and Herbal Essences Color Me Happy are all great to start with and modified CG (basically means no sulfates and no silicones in your hair products). Also you might wanna try a gel for holding your curls. I love the LA Looks Curl, LaBella Curl Gel, and Just For Me! Smoothing Gel. You might want a moisturizer for when your hair is dry too. There are lots of products out there, just go have fun! :blob3:
    Low-Poo: Hairveda's Shampoo Bar
    Co- Wash: Suave Professionals
Rinse-out Conditioners: HE LTR , GF Triple Nutrition, Lustrasilk Shea/Mango Cholesterol
Deep Conditioner: Lustrasilk S/M Cholesterol + honey, EVOO, coconut oil

    Moisturizers:
    Hairveda's 3-n-1 Creme & Blended Beauty's Curl Styling Lotion

Aye jam the gels you mentioned do they leave your hair crisp? My son is looking for leave-ins that aren't crisp or greasy.

He has a long list to try this summer.

man don't worry about it. i would go to the store all the time and buy hair products, like pantene relaxed and natural conditioner, which is clearly advertised to women. the people at the register don't really care to be honest. the female cashiers would often ask me what do i do to/ use in my hair. lol.

Most gels if applied to wet hair will leave the hair crisp. What I 've found to avoid that is to put a cheapie conditioner (or any conditioner of your choosing) in a spray bottle with some water. Shake it up and apply to your hair after you've towel dried it (use a tshirt to avod frizz) and spray all over, like sopping wet, then apply (this is what I like to do) Just For Me gel in sections and scrunch with that tshirt. As it dries scrunch with the Proclaim curl activator gel and you'll have great shine and soft curls!
