Pedi color?

three rivers curlythree rivers curly Posts: 994Registered Users
I've been rockin' the whole nude/neutral pedi color this summer. Next week (YAY!) we are going to our place in Myrtle Beach. Should I keep the nude/neutral, or should I mix it up?

Thank you ladies! :D

I say pinks/berries or something in the coral/melon family. No offense meant to anyone who wears red polish, but I think red toes looks really dated. It was so in for so long, now whenever I see it I just think "blech" another set of red toenails.

Sounds pretty! I just don't dig pink on my skin. I think it blends too much because I'm so pale. I like my tootsies to pop!!

Noooo..it's not pink in that way. It's more reddish now that I'm looking at it. In the picture, it just looks red. But it's a deep dark orange-pink. But good luck finding a color!!! It's a lot of fun picking one.

Mine too. I might throw on some Chicago Champagne Toast now and then, but most of them time they're some shade of red.

    Different.

I could've had an opinion but without an invite I'm not sure what I think.
I'm thinking a brighter pink would be hot. Or is it beautiful?

I chose neutrals because it's the beach. The sand is going to cause chipping faster than normal, and neutral won't show it as much as other colors.
Right now I have on a coral color, but it's time for a change so I'm thinking French.

I usually do pale pink in the winter and then dark / bright pink in the summer. Sometimes red. That Cajun Shrimp color looks pretty, I'll have to look for it the next time I get my toes done.

It's a toss up between red and pink/berries. I don't like color on my fingernails but I do like to go a little wild on my toesies. Right now I have a bright pinkish color.

Yeah, I can't really get into the natural look on toes either. The way I see it is that feet are ugly, and we paint our toenails to take away from the ugliness of our feet....and neutral polish doesn't do that! I also think french toes only look good on virtually perfect feet. Otherwise I just think it emphasizes the problems with the feet.

And yes, I realize there is nothing inherently gross or nasty about feet, but I just don't like them and think they're ugly....unless they are my feet with nicely painted toes and a toe ring. Then they are pretty. :)

Most anything but green. I just think green polish makes it look like your toes have gangrene.

Revlon used to make this fabulous red polish that had tonnes of sparkle in it. It was the perfect summer shade!

    Maybe "Bubbyful"?

I'm definately getting tired of the nude/neutral - I can take polish with me for touch ups.

    Keep 'em coming curlies!

I really like Coral for the summer.

Essie makes a color called "Beach House" that I love.

Actually, I'm not sure about the name. It might be "boathouse" now that I think of it.

Neutral colors don't look so great on my feet, so I couldn't give much of an opinion on that, but I'm currently sporting a pinkish-coral color. I think it's a great summer color.

Do whatever you think looks best on your feet. If you don't think bright colors look right, go with neutral, or colors that you're more comfortable with. :)
