I wet my hair and put GF Antihumidity Cream in it. I had the best hair day since the weather turned hot and humid. I had forgotten about the cream and was able to squeeze out enough. Tomorrow I'm going to use some FrizzEase! Yeah for high humidity and heavy cones!:geek: Today was my first frizzfree day and I had some great ringlets!

    Condished with MyHoneyChild HoneyNutt
    Raked then denman MyHoneyChild pomade
    Scrunched in BRHG

It looked great wet and awful dry. I couldn't SOTC some of it and the back just poofed up with little wave. NOT a good combo for me :( Can't wait to re-do my hair tomorrow.

I'm on day 3, but I washed with Loreal pro vive and used kbb mill as a li. Then I mixed a little bit of kbb nectar with [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]kccc[/buylink] to style. I refreshed this morning with a little nectar and was off.

I'm pretty happy with the way this method has been working.

I co-washed with Suave Aloe & Waterlily. Used Sally's GVP conditioning balm as a rinseout. Scrunched in a little [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curl-Junkie-CoffeeCoco-Curl-Creme-p-488.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curl-junkie-coffeecoco-curl-creme]CJ CCCC[/buylink] and scrunched in some LA looks sport gel on top. Scrunched with micro fiber towel and clipped the roots near my sidepart and let airdry. Once dry, I took out the clips and gently scrunched out the tiny bit of crunch

I have nice soft ringlets with a just a little frizz. But I did get a nice compliment on how soft and curly and frizz free it looks-even though I think its a bit frizzy. I think I needed to apply a bit more gel on top.

Then I styled with CK, [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/AG-Recoil-p-24.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=ag-hair-cosmetics-recoil-curl-activator]Re:Coil[/buylink], BRHG and a touch of honey, plopped for 20 minutes, air-dried and then SOTC with Innersense finishing polish.

I'm liking my hair but I'm not loving it as it's lacking volume up top. Part of that is the plopping as I got more volume last time not plopping. The rest is that I'm growing out a cut that's not looking too hot right now. I've got an appointment in a couple of weeks to get some shape cut in so until then I have to find ways to compensate. Crossing my fingers that clipping will work. My hair is not long enough to pineapple yet or I'd give that a shot.

Also, I'm not sold on the Innersense finishing polish yet and this is my first time using CK. I'll have to play with the amounts on both and see how that goes.

    conditioned: AOWC
    leave in: KBB Hair nectar
    styler: AOMM + HEBE

Result is average as well, I blame it on sleeping 10 minutes longer than usually, I had to hurry to get to work this morning. Normally I use KBB milk with AOMM, but forgot to place a new bottle in the shower after I used up the other one a few days ago.
I then didn't have enough time to diffuse, and started to mess with my hair when it wasn't fully dry. I decided to put it up in a bun once it was 90% dry. It looked okay.

Yay for experiments! I've been at my wit's end with my hair lately.

Update: Volume and soft clumpy curls that lasted all day!!! Some surface frizz after about 5 hours but it still looked good enough to wear down. Usually I have to bun my hair by this time of day to look decent.

So..um...I kinda fell off the CG wagon. I got sick of long curly hair about 6 months ago. I currently have a short a-line, which I flat iron, although I also wear it wavy sometimes. I still use sulfate-free poos (I'm madly in love with the Bodyshop's rainforest moisture) and silicone free conditioners.

Well, this morning I spritzed my hair with some water and scrunched in a little bit of gel (the one in my signature). As of right now I have my protein pack treatment (the one egg, one tbsp. mayonnaise and 2 tsp. olive oil from Live Curly Live free) in my hair still and in 20-30 minutes I will be rinsing it out using some Burt's Bees More Moisture Conditioner to detangle, then an ACV rinse. Scrunch in some gel do a plopped pineapple and an hour later go to bed.

I did my protein treatment earlier this evening than I normally do because I was sick of seeing my hair so limp.

Thursday evening I used EO Rosemary Mint condish as rinse out, pea size of SheaM as leave-in. I used a floursack towel to scrunch some moisture out. I scrunched in a combo of Bioterra Gel and HESMU together, 1st a half dollar size blob on the right, then left and upside down. I plopped for 15 min, clipped roots, let air dry for a few hours, pineappled and slept in a satin bonnet. I had a pretty good hair day this morning with clumps of nice defined waves. I just spritzed my hair with some refresher spray and put a few bobby pins up at the roots. It looked good pretty much the whole day. I did have a little surface frizz by the end of the day but dew points have been high.

Attempted to detangle with AO Rosa Mosqueta. Didn't like it. I should know better than to use a protein detangler. Duuuh.

AOHR to get rid of the protein dryness. I always love this stuff.

AOWC as a leave in. OK. I pick up my Curl Junkie this weekend Thank God. I usually use the Curl Rehab as a leave-in.

[buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]. Lovely as always for definition and moisture.

I tried a new gel on top of the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] since dews were 65-72 today. I used Joico JoiGel Firm.

If I would have noticed the Aquage ingredients first i would have bought that instead since it appears to be protein free. The JoiGel has keratin - the same type of keratin that is in my protein treatment, so I figured that I could handle it. It also has a PEG modified cone, so I get the polymers that I like in high dew points along with the anti-humectant properties of a silicone, which, as a bonus, is water soluble.

    Ingredients:

Water (Aqua), VP/VA Copolymer, Hydrolyzed Keratin (Quadramine Complex), Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Keratin, PEG-8 Dimethicone, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Oleth-20, Tetrasodium EDTA, Triethanolamine, Benzohenone-4, Propylene Glycol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Benzyl Benzoate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Fragrance (Parfum).

    "JoiGel™ Firm
    Designed for: firm-hold gel styling
    Benefits:
Provides excellent support, control and shine for styling without flaking.
UV protectants condition and protect against daily environmental stress.
Maximum styling control, body and shine to support hard-to-hold hair"

It worked nicely to give frizz protection over the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]. It did dry crunchy, but it all scrunched out easily, and my curls are soooofffftttttttt. I think the combo of the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] moisture and the silicone does something for me. Dew point is 70 right now and all is holding up well.

It is less crispy than I remember the BRHG being, and I don;t know if it's hold is as hard when it comes right down to it.

Since I had no adverse reactions, it goes to week long testing before I declare it a keeper!

Washed with Tigi Peace Love and the Planet shampoo, finger combed Tigi Peace Love and the Planet leave in (no rinse out conditioner), shook my hair out in the shower, finished showering. Mixed a two to three knuckle blob of CJ AFG (yes, it was a bit too much AFG) with a puddle of CK in my hand, finger combed/raked through, scrunched, let dry, and shook out once dry. Great sproingy curls!

UPDATE: This is officially the curliest my hair has ever air dried. It's curled up to the roots! I think the new TIGI stuff is the bomb!!

After not loving the results of my CK and Innersense experiment, I co-washed again this morning with Giovanni TTT, used Biolage Bodifying Conditioner as my rinse-off, Biolage Conditioning Balm as the leave-in, then [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/AG-Recoil-p-24.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=ag-hair-cosmetics-recoil-curl-activator]Re:Coil[/buylink] and BRHG to style. SOTC with a teeny bit of AVG rubbed all over my hands.

Walking in the rain for a couple of hours led to serous frizz later, but that was to be expected. Now my hair is tied up in a silk scarf and I'm hoping for second day hair.
