but I actually am really loving my hair:love5:. I've never in my life loved my hair until i let it go curly/wavy. I'm amazed at how far it has come along.

Since finding nc.com, I've never hated my hair.

I now feel like I can handle my hair. Finally.

I feel prettier now that my curls are better.

Goobernut you WILL get there. I'm on 3 months and I'm just there;) and sometimes I feel I have more bad days than good, but as of late I'm liking it.

Im finding instead of fighting my natural curl/wavy my hair loves me too:) sorta. Thank you Texas Humidity.
I just rinsed with honey and 50:50 conditioner and honey and its SOO shiny!!! Now, what I need is ideas on a curl booster. Oh yes two things.... I have found "Yes To Carrots" and am in L-O-V-E the other day I used an olive oil organic shampoo and it worked great. Anyone else used something like that. It came from Wal-Mart.

I have to agree. Even with all the troubles it's giving me, and how difficult it is adjusting to a curly head of hair, finding and embracing my curls and putting away the flat iron really gave me an extra bounce in my step.

My hair is more gorgeous naturally than it ever was with HOURS of hard work!

Plus, how cool is it to be able to embrace the real you!?

Even though I feel like I'm spending waaay more time on my hair than back when I just blew it out straight twice a week, I am liking it so much more.

I've been CG for seven weeks now and I still don't quite recognize myself in the mirror...but I like it. I think the waves/curls make me look younger, and I even feel rather sexy with them.

Still dealing with years of damage from 'cones, heat styling, and coloring; but for the first time in years my hair doesn't feel like straw and I am not afraid of humidity.
