I would imagine that a healthy scalp promotes healthy growth, I'm sure to some extent build up on the scalp would prohibit growth. Do you acv rinse from time to time? that'll help with the build up. :)

I have hard water, and try to do them every few weeks or so. There was an article posted in the General hair discussion forum, regarding getting too much of a good thing. It was the acv rinse and dt thread. Anywho, I think that 1-2x/mo is good.

    Hi there,

I use ACV rinse twice a week, it has never had any ill effects, my understanding is that this is what brings the hair into ph balance.

Yes i think build up would definitely stunt hair growth as a matter of fact if the folicle gets clogged you could lose hair, that being said you should not get a build up if you use cg safe products meaning use only water soluble products.

I massage my scalp in the shower or when i do a deep treatment, also massage with oils 3 to 5 minutes that will definitely clear anything that is on your scalp and promote hair growth.
    Very Thick dry 3b BSL.
    Fine, medium porosity
Right now I am using GVP conditioning balm for cowash and RO,
    my hair loves protein.
for styling my base is BRHG I can use it alone but prefer with Curl Keeper. I sulphate poo once a month or so as needed.
