Roux porosity control?

laynesavedthedaylaynesavedtheday Posts: 239Registered Users
I am thinking about buy Roux Porosity control shampoo and conditioner to use before I color my hair. I think my hair is high porosity so the last few times I have colored the coloring has turned out super dark and faded fast.

Has anyone used this? Does it work? Is it CG friendly?

Thank you!

I don't know if it's CG friendly but the conditioner left my hair feeling gummy and coated. I never used the shampoo.

You might want to try the little sample foil packets they tend to sell at beauty supply stores before getting a full bottle.

I've tried the porosity control condish twice to see how it compares to using ACV rinses.

The first time left me a little dry, and I used a DT to fix it.

The second time was more dryness, like yucky dry. I think I need to sleep in a DT tonight, lol.

You can search the site too. I see it's gotten good reviews from others.

On the plus side, I bought the sample bottle at Sally's so I am only out $2.

Is this product supposed to "control" high or low porosity issues?

I feel that it is for high porosity issues.
