I used it during my transition. It is too damn expensive, but took the place of 2-3 products that I was using for my wash n go.

    A decent substitute:

    1. Co -wash and rinse hair.
    2. Add an oil-- just a little to slick through. I liked African Pride.
    3. Add Curls Up curl defining gel from FX. If you can, use the yellow kind instead of the purple.
    4. Spritz John Frieda's Relax spray.
    5. Scrunch.

Course, if 100 percent natural, you won't need to scrunch. In fact, I found this product combo usesless when I became natural, but it did the job before the Meringue, albeit with slightly more crunch.

Thanks for posting the ingredient list. It sounds a lot like Fantasia IC but about 10X the price  [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Miss-Jessies-Curly-Meringue-p-576.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=miss-jessies-curly-meringue]Curly Meringue[/buylink] and the other Curve stylers are being sold in Curlmart now, which may be more economical for shipping than ordering from Curve, for what it's worth..

Is this meringue similar to the buttercreme?
