I am in love, when i first started out with these pills, all i had was a tingly scalp and average growth the first month. now im nearing an inch of growth a month. attached are two pictures, one of a blowout on april 3rd and one of a blowout this afternoon. the first is april 3rd and the second is april 25th
Been on the CG method for about a month... slowly weaning myself off of twice a week flat ironing sessions as a new years resolutions
Im a 3B with a lil bit of 3C. Its almost shoulder length curly
Just looking to grow my hair back to BSL curly before all the breakage made me cut it off
Loving the wild curly tendrils of my poofy hairrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Wow, congratulations! :D I've heard awesome stuff about GNC Ultra Nourishair, I'm so sad the UK GNC doesn't stock it :/
Fine 3c type, loves protein. BS length when straight, aiming for BS length when curly!

thanks! its growing like a weed now. the only downside is that my hair gets extremely oily really quickly.
maybe you can see about getting it shipped there from drugstore.com or something

thank you, it took me forever to get past that awful shoulder length stage, where the ends of my hair break off constantly on my clothing

It's not stocked here in Australia either. I even emailed the company to ask why or whether I could get it imported. Apparently something in it, which i have come to believe is probably the MSM isn't approved here or something like that.

I believe it's the MSM because you can hardly find that here... it's usually powder form and mixed with other things.

maybe it the same for the uk???

Someone suggested drugstore.com, I tried there, but they don't ship to Australia! grr!

aww well all i can suggest is combining other hair growth vitamins until you find something equal to or better.

i actually just found about about country life maxi hair vitamins that have wayyyy larger doses than ultra nourishair, maybe you could try those. theyre found at like health food stores

AWesome, Im so picking this up today! I am at that curly to the shoulders stage and I want curly to BSL! Tell me, do you protective style? TIA
    TYPE: 3C
Current State: Just bc'd but still growing out heat damage in the front that goes to the root
    High Density, Medium Porosity
Length: Grazing SL curly with tons of layers
    Goal: MBL curly? 2019?
Doing what I want when I want!

protective styling is honestly one thing that i am not good at. occasionally, ill attempt to wear it in a sock bun for a few weeks but i never get past 4 or 5 days. I do make sure that i keep my ends extra moisturized since im not too good with bunning.
since this last comparison, i wore it in a bun for a total of 12 days maybe... i think. thats more than usual so in about a week, ill be posting any new results.

In Sweden it´s hard to find pure MSN for humans... it´s too weak or mixed with other things. The kind I use is for horses. It´s pure MSN, cheap and good quality - used by many nutritional therapists. It´s a powder. Maybe that works for all of Europe and Australia.

Finally got my penpal to send me some GNC Ultranourishair, can't wait to try them! XD Drugstore.com's shipping prices are a joke (the international shipping is pretty much equal to the price you pay for the products themselves, and with the exchange rate the way it is, that's not do-able) :S

    hi everyone.

as you can see from my signature down there, i'm so desperate to grow out my curls! i've been taking GNC's hair, skin and nails formula along with GNC evening primrose and GNC collagen for about 2.5 weeks now and i know it's early, but i can't really tell anything. once this month's worth of vitamins is gone, i'm considering trying the GNC ultra nourish hair b/c of this thread.

i'm so discouraged about growing it out. i've been trying for 2 years. since then i've stopped flat ironing so much (only do it once or twice a month) but still it breaks off on the ends. i get it trimmed once every 2 months but i can see split ends going ALL THE WAY up my hair. does that mean i have to cut it all off in order for it to grow? is it possible to grow out hair that is already damaged and split WITHOUT cutting it all off? help!
3b/4a very fine, avg/high porosity curly looking to GAIN LENGTH!
open to learning all i can from this site and others' advice!!!:read2:

I want to try these pills as well. Im in the transitioning process and really just want my hair to grow so I can get my BC....im too chicken to do it now with the little bit of growth I have.

Let me ask you this, I see these pills are supposedly for men, did you have any excessive growth anywhere else on your body besides your scalp?

Wow. Now that I'm hearing so many great reviews on Nourishair I wanna try it out, It's not too expensive so thats a plus and i DESPERATELY want shoulder length hair (while curly), right now it's a bit past shoulder if i stretch it, but when it's curly it's like an afro disaster... Not to mention uneven shrinkage.
Anyhoos...i may just sprint down to my local GNC and pick it up, it's worth a shot right?
    :)
    APL Stetched
    Random 3c/4a/4b mix
BSL while curly. I'm going to get there. :afro:

Um, not sure where it says they're for men? I'm on my second bottle, and they're in the women's section and are specifically for women... But no, I've not had any hair growth anywhere other than my head that is notable with these pills, and in fact I haven't had real notable growth on my head either. But, that being said I'm also part of the 1/8 to 1/4 inch a month crowd, and most say that it takes at least a month for your body to adjust to suppliments, so we'll see :-)

    Good luck growing everyone!

I've been taking GNC's Hair, Skin & Nails for a while now and I have noticed some growth in my hair.

But I was wondering if I could take HSN & Nourishair at the same time or would it be too much? & I don't take a multi yet should I take a multi b4 I add another vitamin??

I bought them for about $15 dollars at gnc, I have a feeling I paid less than that.

I started these pills on 6/14 today makes a month, I have noticed some growth. In my avatar pic my left side was shaved very low and the other kept length to ear (pic taken in april). In June when I started these pills I was barely (i mean barely) able to grab the left side, let alone twirl it around my finger. I could actually braid it now if i wanted too :)

I will be starting my next bottle next week, hope the growth keeps coming!

I paid about $17.99 for the 120 count. I plan to by the maxi-life ones form vitacost it has the same basic ingredients and the more of the good stuff. It is a little cheaper and has good reviews.

I've been taking GNC NourishHair for quite a while and I can't say that my hair is growing faster, but I think it is healthier. My nails aren't growing faster and are still peeling - I've got crappy nails. However, my eyelashes have come in much thicker - a plus - and my toenails are growing faster - not a plus.

My toenails are growing faster too. I mean really fast. Definitely not a plus. Also, I have a hair on my chin. I did not have that before. I hope I don't turn into a man or a beast.:laughing3:
