Apple for Curls?

I've searched the forums and come up with nothing. :) So, has anyone ever tried apple on their hair?

I know of apple pectin conditioners & cleaning the hair with apple cider vinegar, but I haven't seen or heard of anything else. It sounds plausible.

I found this on a quick Google search from

    purplearrow_r.gif Eve's Apple Hair Rinse purplearrow_r.gif

1 large apple, peeled and cut into small pieces
    2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    2 cups water

    1. Mix together all ingredients in a blender or food processor set on "High." 2. Pour the mixture through a strainer into a clean container, discarding all solids. 3. To use: Pour over your hair after shampooing as a final rinse. 4. Massage through your hair and rinse thoroughly with cool water. Yield: 16 ounces, enough for one rinse

There is a line of products that have apple juice and the first ingredient and I was thinking about trying some apple sauce in my henna.

It's acidic and ACV is good for hair so I don't see why not.
