Is there one that's a powder, not liquidy? The liquid one I have is a little too light in color.

Loreal Decrease dries FAST on on me and almost looks like a powder. You apply it with an applicator. My Mary Kay eye primer takes five times as long to dry before applying shadow.

I have the one from benefit. Erase paste. I like it. At first I hated it, but it definitely does the trick.

I like Bobbi Brown's Vanilla Stick - it is a cream stick and I apply eye shadow directly over it without waiting.

That's the one I have! I tried it again tonight putting less on with my fingers instead of the applicator and it was okay. I'll give it another try :)

I've been using Bare Escentuals Well Rested as my eyeshadow primer. Works really well for me. Another that I use is Jane Iredale's lid primer (it's a cream in a pot) in Canvas (beige); it also comes in a pinkish color and a yellow-ish color but I'm not sure what those names are.

Oh my gosh! I was so gonna start an e/s thread. But not about texture, about blendability. Rather than hijack, I'll start it.

Rou, I have this stuff, too. I've always just used it on its own, though. Does the yellow show through powder eyeshadow if used as a base?

ninja, i can honestly say it does not - even through light colours like MAC Naked Lunch or Stila Kitten. and i've been using Lemon Aid for over 5 years.

I like MAC Paint Pots for this, especially Soft Ochre, a flesh-toned yellow, all though some people used the more colorful ones for a bold effect. They are a thick cream, not a powder.

I use too-faced shadow insurance...its a thick creme that drys to a matte powdery finish. My eyeshadow just glides on over it.

I've been using a sample of Urban Decay eyeshadow primer and it works pretty well. It's a liquid that you apply with an applicator but it dries very sheer.

They do dry matte. I put it on with my fingers.

I have used Lancome primer in the past. Costs way too much. Now, I am using the Ulta brand. It works nice I don't have creases and stays on all day. However it is a cream and maybe I am suppose to let it dry before I apply.
