Crap! I just ordered a boatload of stuff from them a couple of days ago!!! I didn't get this email, either, by the way. I wonder why? :dontknow:

What's your favorite product(s) and why? I've been using Meow for awhile, but I'm still not sure I've found my holy grail foundation just yet. It doesn't seem to last very long on my face, and I just can't find the *right* shade of foundation. I have mixed and matched and tried all samples in my shade ranges, but i feel like what I'm using is still to chalky looking.

i signed up for the e-mail newsletter on their website and that's how i got this one. someone here mentioned sales often come around the holidays.

i'm new to meow but i found a shade that seems perfect (for me it's fierce spyhnx). i'll see about wearability once i get mine because honestly i've just been letting my skin breathe. i hope my fill sized jar comes soon though! i also ordered blush and they seem nice.

these are some things i found on the meow forums that might help you decide what color to pick. some of the shades just looked flat and unattractive on me but when i found the one that was my match it really was just right and even the close runner up is nice..

Jen's descriptions
Siamese: Neutral (not alot of undertones)
Mau: Warm - Pink/Yellow undertone but with a slight beige
Sphynx: Peach but with pink and beige to it
Chartreux: True apricot. Peach with yellow
Persian: Peach but with pink to it
Himalayan: Slight pink undertone to it not really much beige
Chausie: Cool foundation with a touch of pink but with beige to it.
Bengal: Cool beige foundation
Angora: True translucent creamy yellow
Abyssinian: Yellow but with beige to it
Korat: Light golden but with beige to it, also leans towards the golden olive side
Ocicat: Olive with yellow/beige but leans more towards a green olive
Manx: Yellow with just a touch of apricot/peach and beige

Undertone descriptions:
Warm - generally yellow/peach/pink (Mau, Sphynx)
Peach - mix of yellow/pink (Persian)
Apricot - mix of peach/yellow (Chartreux)
Golden - yellow and beige (Abyssinian, also Korat, maybe also Manx)
Beige - beige is how much brown is added to a foundation, example of a beige foundation is (Bengal)
Neutral - no real obvious yellow, pink or peach undertones. Sometimes a mix of all three. (Siamese) is considered a warm neutral
Cool - pink/purple undertone (Chausie) what I consider a cool pink
Pink - pink undertone (Himalayan) this is a warm pink
Yellow - creamy yellow, not a lemon! (Angora)
Olive - two different olives a warm olive (Korat) and a cool olive (Ocicat)

Ok, so I'm a meow newbie, but with this and hearing about it on here, I decided to order some samples. I tried the code, it didn't seem to work and I just shrugged it off, assuming it didn't apply to the samples since they're so cheap anyways.

Just got an email from their customer service, saying they refunded me $1 because the discount didn't apply correctly. their customer service!!!!

I've never in my life found a foundation that actually matches my skin color and looks good in natural light until Meow. I'm still going off samples even, but oy. Fantastic.

I'm playing with some of their eyeshadows as well (samples) and they're ok... not SPECTACULAR but decent color pay off and nice shimmer, especially for the price.

i only wear their foundation and blush and it looks really good on me. i was a major mac girl until i realized it broke me out. i didn't know where to start on mineral makeup but after reading ALL the threads here i tried meow and loved it. no adverse effects whatsoever and great color match. the blush looks nice too. it lasts. for my shadows i stick with mac though. their customer service is good too!

I have tried dozens of mineral makeup lines, and Meow is my ultimate favorite. They have the largest selection of foundation colors of any company I've ever seen, so there is a match for absolutely everyone, and the foundation just stays so nice all day. Very natural looking. Never shiny or flat or tin-man-ish. Their blush and eye colors are nice too, but it's their foundations that are really fab.

I actually recently changed ISPs, and had to sign up with my new email addy-I have another code to use within 30 days, I think? Or the end of the month...anyway...just thought I'd throw that out there...MEOW is the ultimate foundation for me. Not only because of the color match, but the feel, and the durability of the coverage even in the rain, etc. I actually dabbed some foundation on a few red spots on my face before going to the beach, and it looked natural and stayed all day...

i'm loving the firefly bronzer, it's the prefect add to keep my skin perky in the winter. i sampled the vip blush in dame and it's hot!!! i'll be getting those two.
