GAH!! Product Betrayal!

Geez! So I was curious. I was about to pump the usual 6-10 pumps of my serum into my hand (they're pretty small pumps, but still). Now, this serum is from Aveda, a brand I THOUGHT was all-natural. I don't know why I though this, maybe because all of their products have names like "Lavender Light Essentials." Psh. So I look at the label, and am flabbergasted.

Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Phenyl Trimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer.

WHAT???? I immediatly put the bottle down. ARGH!!! I'm mad!

Unfortunately, most Aveda products are heavy on silicones and sulfates. There is a liquid gel (Confixer?) that is silicone-free, but I had to give up most of my Aveda products when I went curly. Think of it this way: most CG products are much more affordable than Aveda.

Ya I've noticed that too. No more Aveda for me unless it's silicone free and cheap enough!
