Beer in Hair?

So I've read in a few places that beer can make your hair shinier and seal the cuticle etc... I hear it is due to proteins so I guess this would not be for the protein sensitive. Have any of you tried this before? I'm considering it since I don't know myself to be protein sensitive as of yet. Here's one of the several links you can google about it. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/444628/get_bouncy_hair_by_using_beer.html?cat=69

I remember reading about this in the 80's. I had one of those teen things that talked about hair, fashion, boys, etc.....and I remember them talking about doing a beer rinse. Never tried it. Don't think I'd want to. LOL!

yea I'm not sure if I want to either, but I was thinking if someone else had good results I'd try it as long as I don't end up smelling like a bar.

I was thinking about beer a few weeks ago. Only thing is, I hate the smell/taste of beer so don't know if I can stand pouring it on my head. :cyclops:
