Hi everyone,

I know Subbrock uses California Baby and I'm hoping she pipes in and gives me some advice about this brand (I know her advice is always excellant :toothy7:)

Ive just realised I can buy this brand in the UK!!!, so I'm hoping its good!, I just need to know if anyone has opinions on the products,I was thinking of buying the Calming conditioner, Calming shampoo and Detangler

I have some [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Come-Clean-Moisturizing-Shampoo-p-844.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Kinky-Curly-Come-Clean-Moisturizing-Shampoo]Kinky Curly Come Clean[/buylink] Shampoo, Knot Today, and Curling Custard on order from the US so any opinions and advice on these also would be great,

My routine at the moment is use [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Hair-Cleansing-Cream-p-103.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-hair-cleansing-cream]Jessicurl HCC[/buylink] (nearly run out need a cheaper alternative), KBB Milk to condition and KBB Milk or Nectar as her leave in, her hair is still really tangly so I'm thinking of changing her routine, (oh I only wash once a week I co-wash with Inecto Coconut conditioner inbetween shampoo's)

Thanks for any advice in advance :toothy7:

Not subbrock who definitely knows about the Calming Conditioner and the various ways to use it. :thumbright: But, I've used two of their products, the Calming Detangler and the Calming Conditioner. Calming Detangler is very ick. My kids have 2-3 ranges of curl types, SL to WL hair, normal to slightly porous hair. It made present tangles worse, created new tangles, and didn't smell good over time. I suspect it works for kids with straight hair that tends to get very oily or gunky. But, even my daughter who basically has straight hair with loose waves got irksome and awful tangles with it. Be warned: If you try it, spray it on a small section first to see if it causes massively gummed up uber-tangly hair.

Their Calming Conditioner is good tho, as a leave-in too, especially if your child doesn't have very tight corkscrew curls that get uber thirsty.

I haven't used the other products, but have been eyeing the Curling Custard on and off, lol, can't decide if I want to try it or not.

Oh no I've gone and ordered the Detangler and Calming Conditioner

I'm hoping the Detangler will be okay for my straight haired daughter now!!

I'm going to see what the Conditioner is like and if its not moisturising enough I'll use it as a co-wash, will let you know what I think when they arrive :thumbright:

Oh and I'd definatly recommend the Curling Custard its AMAZING!! :happy5:

i havent tried the california baby detangler and iprobably wont now, so thank you for saving me some $$!
the calming conditioner is the most moisturizing conditioner ive found for my little one. she does have fine strands and very loose hair though. i think the calming conditioner is even more moisturizing on her hair than the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Knot-Today-p-207.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-knot-today-leaveindetangler]knot today[/buylink], and it gets rid of tangles easier while shes in the tub. i still havent decided on whether or not i'll repurchase the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Knot-Today-p-207.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-knot-today-leaveindetangler]knot today[/buylink].
im really loving the results i get from [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]kinky curly curling custard[/buylink] on her hair. i only have to use a very tiny bit and she gets defined frizz free curls that dont look like there is any product in them at all.

mumofcurlygirl-mayeb you could try putting your daughters hair in a loose braid when she goes to bed at night. that might help with the tangles. have you tried a satin pillowcase yet?
