Temporary dye and shampoo?

I'm CG and I'm wondering if I dyed my hair myself with temporary dye, would I have to use shampoo? I don't have a specific brand of dye I'm planning on using, but I've done it before. (This was before going CG, though.)

You would probably need shampoo if you wanted to remove the dye. Other than that, you should be ok. Just keep in mind temporary dye is just that - temporary.

You might want to consider a semi or demi permanent color.

I find that I get bored of the color about when it starts to wash out, so I think temporary is the way to go for me. I don't like long term changes. :P

    Thanks for the info.

Yeah, unless you want to remove the color, you're probably better off not shampooing - it'll help retain the color longer.
    2C/3A/3B - modified CG - fairly fine now, normal/low porosity/normal elasticity

Current Main Rotation: MG217 medicated or Aim2Health 'poos for scalp, Elucence cond., Spiral Solutions Protein & Deeply Decadent Cond., CJCCCC reg or lite,CJ Pattern Pusha,, Giovanni LA Hold Hair Spritz + lots more, sporadically

HG Method: Super Soaker + Smasters-ing, brief upside down diffusing w/360o diffuser then clips/clamps & air dry. Newly gray - stopped my henna glosses!
