makeup remover fpr face?

So lately I've just been using petroleum jelly and soap for my eye makeup, but today I got a bunch of face makeup. YAY! I tried to wash it off with soap and water, but I don't think I was completely successful. Anyways, are there makeup removing wipes you can buy at the drugstore? Also they can't be too drying--I have combination skin--and I would like something to help lessen mild acne.

If anyone has anything more natural than wipes and such, I'd be much obliged, but I just want something conveinient (sp).

Just one more thing! What about cleaning brushes. Is witch hazel something you can use? How do you do that?

Sorry for all these questions and if they're really repetitive. Just link me up if at all possible.

I lied. What's a good moisturizer? My face gets dry in places. Is cetaphil non-comodegenic (sp), hypoallergenic and stuff?

i use Avon makeup remover because it's cheap or the generic of the makeup remover sheets that companies like Olay and Ponds make. they take EVERYTHING off!

when i exfoliate, i use a cheap face brush that's a knock-off of one from The Beauty Shop and Spectro-jel cleanser.

for moisturizer, i use Olay Regenerist Serum at night and my sunscreen during the day.

Use jojoba oil instead of vaseline. great stuff.

The $1 store also has remover wipes that work great

I use olive oil as an eye makeup remover. I'm deathly afraid of using any type of oil to remove other makeup, however, as it only exacerbates my acne. Just something to keep in mind.

Also, I just use handsoap to clean my brushes. Any type of soap will do, really.

I also recommend Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream with SPF 15 as a moisturizer. It's super lightweight and applies easily.

baby wipes are the best thing ever to remove makeup. I always get the fragrance free ones because I use them for eye makeup as well as face makeup.

I use an all-in-one cleanser so I don't have to remove my makeup before cleansing. Right now I'm using Philosophy Purity Made Simple. In the past, I used Neutrogena foaming face wash. Both remove all my makeup, including waterproof mascara.

I really love Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish for taking off make up and evening cleansing. The ingredients are predominantly natural. It's a UK brand but I believe she has a US site too.

I use Johnson&Johnson Baby Oil. You can use a wash rag or cottonball to spread it on your face to remove the makeup. Then just take a wet wash rag to take the oil off and dry your face with a towel. (:

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is my favorite for removing makeup and sunscreen (even very waterproof sunscreens). Washes everything off so well and my skin doesn't break out from it

That sounds really useful! What does DHC stand for and can you find it locally?

DHC is the name of the company, it's a Japanese company, I think; not sure that the initials stand for anything. I buy mine directly from their website, but there are plenty sold on eBay. Just search by DHC Deep Cleansing Oil -- you can probably get some samples that way.

Drugstore find: Neutragena makeup remover pads. They're very gentle, use before washing. Work like a charm!

I use the ponds makeup remover cloths (or the target/walmart store brand...just as good and cheap) and they work well!

i use olay wipes to take my foundation off then i use my cleanser. for my eyes i use neutrogena eyemakeup remover on a cotton ball.

I found the wipes gave me little tiny spots on my forehead so I gave up with them. I use Garnier Clean and Soft Complete Cleansing Milk. It's really moisturising as well as good at getting makeup off and if I don't wash my face afterwards (getting in late usually) I don't end up spotty or with little waxy clogs. I use The Body Shop Camomile Eye Make Up Remover.
