I'm no good at makeup

I've never really used it. It's always made my psoriasis worse. I like the idea of natural makeup (like mineral) but I don't know where to start. Since I have minor flaws and would like a little color I was thinking of a translucent finishing veil and a little blush. Maybe a foundation for days when I need to cover something up (like a zit). Please help me I literally know nothing.

Has anyone used this?

Check out Everyday Minerals. I'm a big advocate of their stuff. It's inexpensive but good quality and especially non-irritating to my super sensitive skin. They also have free sample kits so you can try it out before buying.

This tutorial for applying mineral foundation is pretty decent, as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuDrrEVFvr8&feature=channel

There are lots of great makeup tutorials on youtube for all kinds of makeup.

Sephora is very good for giving lessons. but the only mineral line they carry is Bare Escentuals.

I love EDM too! Definitely check them out. The free sample kit is SO worth it. I've only had to buy foundation once (pressed powder, not included in free kit), as I get a free sample kit with all my eye shadow/blush orders. Everything is a great deal and great quality. And the samples last forever!

They're currently holding a contest for vids and pics of concealer/foundation application. Everyone's been posting their vids into this thread:

It's a long thread, but there are so many ideas there!
