College Curlies!

If this thread or one similar to it has already been started, please point me in the right direction:happy3: I have also posted this in the 4a, 3c and transitioning forums.

I have been noticing sooo many beautiful natural heads around my university campus, ranging from stylish twa's to thick brastrap length tresses. I would say that at least 3 out of 5 of the women I see at my school are natural (and it's not the same 3 every time ). It's a great feeling:happy7:

So to all you college curlies... What's the natural scene like on your campus?

There are still more relaxed women by far, but the number of naturals is increasing. In one of my classes there are more naturals than relaxed...but it a Black Nationalism class--so it is not representative of the total population. But walking down the sidewalk I would say that naturals represent 3-4 out of 10 women.

Well I'm in Arizona, and most of the black people here are 1st generation Caribbean or African, so I see more nappies here:lol:

My family is from Gernada and I have noticed that more people from the Caribbean wear there hair natural. Although, there's still a precentage of Caribbean women that do relax their hair.

As a student at Spelman College, I see an abundance of girls with natural hair. It's amazing. We have natural curlies and straight naturals. The other naturals on campus inspire me to keep going. I feel comfortable walking around campus with my natural hair. One girl in particular has this freaking gorgeous, curly afro. I just stop and admire her hair.
