LOL. Happily, no. And (happily for me, anyway) this particular creditor is Lane Bryant. Since I've lost 60 pounds, I can't fit their clothes anyway.

Regardless, I have learned that credit cards and Springcurl do not mix.

How dare you get yourself out of debt!

Congrats on the weight loss. I'm also very bad with credit cards. :tongue3:
    From Michael Berg:

Every person has a unique connection to the Creator that can never be extinguished, and every person has a great soul that can manifest important things in our world. To make a person feel less than they are because of something inside themselves, be it faith, race, or sexual orientation, is the greatest sin of all."

It's a nice feeling to be debt-free. Of course, they won't your business...now you can just smile and go your merry way!
That's right, I said it! I wear scrunchies!!

I am a sulfate washing, cone slabbing, curly lovin' s.o.b. The CG police haven't caught me yet.

That's awesome you were able to get out of debt!
    :wav:
I too, am with a credit counselor and am patiently counting down the days when I'll have the 4 credit cards paid off. Credit cards and Jill do not mix either.
    cowash: Tresemme Naturals
    rinse out: Garnier Triple Nutrition
Leave in: Suave naturals, whichever scent I'm into at the moment

I will have one paid off in June and another paid off in October. Then I'm done. Can't wait!

Such a liberating feeling! I've almost got my Best Buy card paid off (not included in the credit counseling) and I'll be celebrating when I do. I actually just checked all my balances on the cc's that are with the credit counseling and I've paid off a little over $6,000 so far. Just another $4900 to go.

I racked mine up when I was in college and honestly, couldn't tell ya a darn thing that I bought other than groceries, gas, and booze. I'm sure there were some textbooks and clothes thrown in there, but no idea.

Maybe because in a lot of families, the woman does most of the shopping?

Actually, I am the one who always pays my balance each month, and my BF is the one who owes on his credit cards. He's more the impulse buyer than I am. It takes all kinds.

My sister is the one who is responsible and her husband is the one that forgets to pay the bills or pays them late and gets charged more.

But congratulations to all of us who are working towards being debt-free!

Awesome.. I hate how they do that though. Everytime I pay off those, and want to close it they come back with some ungodly awesome discount or percent off (Kohl's esp.)... I never use it unless you DON'T have to use the card. LOL...
