Is It Too Late To Start Now?

I'm currently transitioning in braid extensions and I've been being very bad to my hair I think. The point of me getting the braids was so I could leave my hair alone and so that it can grow. But my hair is very dry and dirty.

So I was wondering whenever I do decide to stop transitioning and take the braids out, will it be too late for me to start moisturizing my hair? Will my attempts at taking care of it just not work?

Have you been to the site www.growafrohairlong.com? The proprietor has a specific method for transitioning with braids, washing with braids, etc. -- called the Crown & Glory technique.

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

I know I've heard of the whole Crow & Glory thing somewhere but I never knew what it was. Thanks for the website! She's got a great section on braids.
