Seriously, could she post any more talking about delicious, mouthwatering food?????????????????????? And post pictures to boot without giving us these recipes???? She should take orders and send us some of this stuff.

Haha. All part of my evil plan! Hey, I have to rally votes for delicious pie. Maybe get a few converts. ;)

Sairis, you're in NYC, right? Next time I'm there I'm totally stalking you and forcing you to cook for me. FYI.

    Works for me. :tongue3:
There is a job opening in Trinidad & Tobago that wants someone with Asian specialty, which is not me, but I have some experience with Asian food and ingredients and I am nothing if not a food encyclopedia (according to those who know me), so I can handle it.
They want three food photographs (among other things), and while I obviously have some, I figure they should be of Asian dishes, so I'll be cooking three dishes solely for the sake of photographs. Heh, I'll be sure to show them to all of you. ;)

Ever since the sports thread wars I have sensed a special connection between [edit] & Wile. Like the connection oil has to water. I almost can't speak of it. Wait....my eyes are misting. ~asq

I've thought the same thing. :) DH travels to Manhattan for business and I'm often invited. Just giving you semi-advance notice.

And to think I had a hard time getting even one person to agree to a curly meeting in NYC over on the other board . . .

See, now if you're posted bunches of pictures of the food you'd make for people if they came, then I guarantee you'd have had more luck.

I don't go to NYC regularly, but I have a number of friends there and my mother lives there part time, so I certainly have reasons to go. Haven't been in almost a year... I'm thinking I'll probably plan a trip in the spring, once it's not so cold anymore.

You posted on the wrong board, obviously.

Every curl gathering I've been to since joining, has been organized on the non-hair board. So you might try to get something going on this forum.

That said, I don't think I could hang with you, Sairis. You and this food thing could be a problem for me. We'd get together and you'd start ordering all of this decadent food...well, I just think it would be bad news for my girlish figure.

Yep, I guess I "hate" Sairis too. I just had lunch and now I'm hungry again. Gee, thanks!!!

Even though I haven't posted on it yet, I'd have to say the Pie v Cake thread is one the best ones I've seen here. I'm enjoying lurking there for the eye-candy.

I still haven't decided what I like best yet.

OMG....... I am another of your stalkers in the mad fan club. Only it's not just the cooking that I would dig. We would have to go shopping too ;)

Can't wait for asian speciality dishes. Sounds potentially delicious!

Yeah, WilePE (;)), see how she is already trying to blame it on me. You know better though . . . I saw what you said about her eating everything in the cake or pie thread.
LYF, ooh, shopping! Fun times. :)
