frizz wars...the trilogy

Me and my curls. i really love them when their wet, just like every other person. but as soon as they dry they get really frizzy.
i know that i will get bombarded with products now.
thank u, but i cant buy them, because im in east africa at the moment
so couls someone maybe give me some tips that could help me get rid of the frizz by using simple stuff?

Generally, the only time my hair looks really truly awful is when it is in the process of drying. When it's wet, and once it's fully dry, it's good. Not always great, but hey, that's curly hair.
I haven't tried it (yet), but a lot of curlies swear by using a tiny bit of honey in their hair when it's wet, to combat frizz and enhance curls.
Also, be careful not to touch your hair too much while it's drying, as that can cause frizz. Using a t-shirt to blot dry, instead of a terrycloth towel, can help with frizz too.
Changed because the "number in place of a word" thing was bugging my no-longer-14-year-old self.
You could try leaving in conditioner then braiding your hair loosely until it dries, then gently take out the braid, and loosen up the sections just a little. If you can, any gel (without cones) would help too. If you can't get gel, aloe works pretty good. HTH!

Ditto. Also, during the 5+ hours it takes my hair to dry, it's incredibly frizzy. Somehow, magically, in the last minute it's drying, it becomes smooth, shiny and wonderful.
I try never to leave the house with wet hair and if I do, I'll pull it back in a bun and leave it that way all day.

I love my big 3c hair, but the wetlook just looks so.. 1986. LOL!
I voted for hate wet / love dry btw
but leaving conditioner and braiding gave pretty good results. but how big should the brades be?
