What are your absolutely outstanding miracle products that have made a difference in your life?

These two have helped tremendously with my skin and nails. I had great nails until I hit about 45 and from then until I started using the Biosil my nails were split and crappy looking. The Biosil has made a huge difference and I've only been using it a month. I use the veggies caps.

I have mentioned this one before, but it bears repeating because the difference it has made in my forehead is astounding.

The new products I use on my face are outstanding to me.

Castor oil and jojoba oil for cleansing.
Black soap for washing off the oils.
    Baking soda for face scrubs.
Shea butter moisturizer (smells so good!).

I can't call them miraculous - they haven't given me back my 18 year old face. But they're natural and gentle, they're cheap, they make my skin soft, and they have pretty much stopped any breakouts, cysts, clogged pores.

My miracle product is Avene Ystheal, it is a retinaldehyde product, for antiaging. Its made my face look a lot better. Between that and very good sunscreen I think my incredibly pale face may survive middle-age in reasonable good shape!

Retin-A. Keeps my still-oily face clear, and smooths out the wrinkles to boot.

I've started using plain, uncoated aspirin as a facial mask. All you do is moisten it with water until it dissolves, apply it to your face, and leave it on for a few minutes. It is a wonderful exfoliator and leaves my face softer than it has been in a long time. I can only find uncoated aspirin at the Dollar Tree but it only costs a dollar a bottle!

The Avene is available at certain CVS stores, mostly in the Northeast. You can google Avene USA (its a French company) and see where their products are carried. I recommend them highly for the Ystheal Cream. They also have a good moisturizer for super dry, winter skin.

I swear by the Philosophy skin care line. You can get it at Sephora, ebay, QVC, Macys and drugstore.com. It has totally transformed my skin.

I have been using KAL 10% hyaluronic acid gel beneath my moisturizer, and a new day moisturizer, L'Occitane Immortelle Very Precious Fluid SPF 40. My skin has never looked better. Just re-ordered both. And I faded the large sunspot/melasma spot on my left jaw with Tri-luma.
