Essential oils...

I want to make a spritz with water and oils for my daughter's hair. She is 2 1/2. What is safe to use on her hair and does anyone have any recipes. I went out and got a few EO's. I have rosemary, Lavender, peppermint, glycerin, ylang ylang, cinnamon something. I just want to make some oil mixture to spray on her hair like twice a day to stimulate her scalp and aid in growth. Her hair has broken off in alot of places and I just want something that I can moizturize her hair with everyday but it also aids in growth.

Peppermint EO shouldn't be used on the really young, especially infants, because it can effect breathing. Rosemary can increase heart rate in young and those with high blood pressure, but I have read in some places where it's okay for kids over a certain age. I'm not sure about that, so please research for yourself. Cinnamon EO is not recommended for children, and is cautioned against skin use period as it's a huge irritant and skin sensitizer. I'm not familiar with Ylang Ylang, but I have seen it in reputable products for children like Carol's Daughter. Personally, I only use Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Geranium and Tea Tree Oil with my kids, and very little at that, not everyday, only two of them are found in products that touch hair (Lavender, Tea Tree) and for sure I use only a few drops (2-3) in huge ounces of carrier oil.
It's best to do research on all the EOs you have and wish to use. You could do Google search and find a reputable site that discusses EOs and use with children. Or maybe email Naturally Curly's chemist about EOs that are safe for your daughter.
Good luck.

ok? I heard about the Rosemary so I wasn't going to use that. I have used the peppermint on her when she was younger but it was heavily diluted. Won't be using that again. I don't want to make oil I want an oil spriz with water in it. I am just going to do the email because honestly I can't find the info I need. Maybe I need to be pointed in the right direction. what exactly is their email? is that a board on here or I need to actually email them?
At Whole Foods the Vit E oils in bottles are located in the skin section where they have the Tea Tree oils made by Jason and the Castor Oil made by Home Health, in the area closet to the toothpastes. You can find capsules of Vit. E in the vitamin section of Whole Foods. Vit. E can be found cheap at Target too. I don't know where to locate the rosewood oil as I've never purchased it.
