when do I apply my under eye concealer?

I feel silly for asking this but here goes! I recently bought some under eye concealer and I was wondering when I would apply it. Before or after my foundation? Thanks!

Thanks rou! Would I still use powder to set everything as the final step?

rou is correct (surprise, surprise  ). You might also find that once you apply your concealer to any dark circles or spots, foundation isn't even necessary.

dark circles tend to be hereditary more than due to a lack of sleep, though that can be a cause.

the skin under our eyes is thinner than that on the rest of the face and blood vessels close to the surface make the skin there look darker - hence the circles.

Vitamin K in cream form is supposed to be of some benefit as it is said to strengthen blood vessels. you might try raising the head of your bed a bit too, as this will help blood flow in the area while you are sleeping and reduce the appearance of the dark circles in the morning.

i've had good results with Avon Lighten Up Undereye Cream.

for concealers, i find those in pen form are lighter and you can build up coverage as needed for maximum coverage. Physician's Formula Wanderful Wand is an inexpensive one, while Touche Eclat from YSL is an expensive one.
