Don't be sad. I like Karev with that other doctor. The new transplant lady. She's spunky. Izzy is a whiny woe-is-me pain in the arse.

Is she leaving the show? I haven't read anything so it's probably just a plot twist. Even so, I hope she collapses, gets brain surgery and spends the rest of the season in a coma somewhere in the hospital where we don't see her much. :D

I read an article about Grey's not that long ago in which the producers are said the brain tumor thing is a rumor and isn't true. We'll see, I guess.

Awww. I used to love Izzy in the first couple of series but now she is just annoying. The writers dont give her any decent story lines anymore-after Denny died that was it. Like that whole Izzy and George thing- what the heck was that about? That just grossed me out watching it!

    Who watched?

I bet Sadie mixed up the other patient's results with Izzy's.

Arizona kissing Callie *sigh* I wanted her with Karev.

Meredith didn't get on my nerves this episode. She's mellowing out, Finally!

Still, Christina and Owen are my favorites.

Over all I really did like this episode. It's been a while.

loved Christina Owen. the only reason to watch the show IMO.

I agree about the mised up results.

mer didn't but me either but Der did with ihs telling everyobody about the ring and then waiting to propose.

Arizona and Callie. <eyeroll> serieously Callie moping around talking about celebicy reminds me of what a pathetic character she was when she was introduced living in the hospital basement and mooning over O'Malley.

Who do we think that girl was that threw Owen into a fit and what's his deal anyway? Any gueses? PTSD?

and Dr. Dixon? I'm sorry but I can't see this situation with her condition flying in real life. What patient for stand for having a doctor like that?

Totally agree about Owen and Christina.

The previews for next week show Christina saying to Meredith that the lady is his fiancee. Another part, I thought, showed Owen saying something like it's not like that. The previews go by so quickly that I'm not sure if it was him or not.

I want Owen and Christina together, but this is Grey's we're talking about so they HAVE to go through some epic dramatic thing before they can finally get it together, just like Meredith and Derek. I wish we would find out what's going on with Izzie, or get her off the show. Alex needs someone more interesting. George was only on for like 12 seconds last night, which I don't mind, he's become about like Izzie in my book. I think that whole Izzie/George storyline killed my like for either of those characters. It wasn't natural, it seemed too forced.

Oh and what was the book that Christina was reading? I missed the first few minutes.

it was another one of Meredith's mother's journals. this one was telling about her romance with the chief and as christina described it , it was all furtive glances and hidden touches and so as she was reading it her life was mirroring it somewhat with her romance with Hunt.

What? The new doc is a lebian too? Man, they're taking over the show...they must be desperate for male viewers. What about that intern? Is she just playing around to bug Callie?

Sadie? They haven't made mention of that in a few episodes.

I think the woman who made Hunt crazy must have been a fiancee or former fiancee - remember when Mark asked Hunt if he'd ever proposed before and if he had any tips for Derek - and Hunt didn't say he'd never proposed, just that he wasn't the guy to ask.

Yeah, where has George been? Not that I miss him, he's annoying. As is Callie. As are most of the characters, I guess.

Am I the only that thinks the Chief is going to turn out to be Meredith's father? Why else do they keep bringing her mother's journals into the storyline?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.. I had a feeling a couple of seasons ago and mentioned it to my neighbor and she thought I was nuts.
I now have it writing.. so when it comes true I can pull this post up and say: SEE!! I told you! ;)

I always thought Meredith was already 4-5 when her mom started messing with the chief.

If he is her father, it would explain why the man she thought was her father just walked away when she was little.

I'm aware of this too, but I can't shake the feeling. I always look for clues in past episodes (yes, I have all seasons on dvd and watch them at least once a year :hiding:) that there might be something more to their relationship.

I'm sure they can explain that away...maybe they had a one night stand and then didn't hook again until years later. This is Grey's.. they can explain anything away! :)

But I remember when mer was bonding with her father while he visited his other daughter and her baby in hospital, saying they had similarities and things that mer had inherited from him, like the snoring problem. Why would she inherit a snoring problem from him if the chief was actually her father? Doesnt make sense.

ITA, I remember that as well, about her being very similar to Thatcher. It wouldn't make sense to reveal now that her real father is the Chief. It would be an interesting plot twist though if someone showed up and was like the love child from the Chief and Mer's mom and he/she had been put up for adoption.

But why did he have such a violent reaction to seeing her? I thought she must have been the wife of one of the guys he lost and feels guilty about. :dontknow:

Oooh good idea. Especially since The Chief and Adelle never had kids because he was too busy with his career. The Grey's writers should come here for ideas.:toothy1:

Can someone explain how the whole Denny thing wrapped up? I've watched that part a few times and for some reason am not totally getting it. Was she sick or was he there because it was his ultimate Heaven? If that is true, I'm not sure why they waited a few seasons for him to come back. He kept saying "I'm here for you," which gave me the idea that he was there to take her back.

:dontknow: I don't know. I think it could have been explained better.

Heigl & Knight Leaving 'Grey's Anatomy'

    PopEater
posted: 18 HOURS 20 MINUTES AGO

(Feb. 10) - The cast of 'Greys Anatomy' will be looking to fill some vacancies if the following quotes about Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight are true. Both stars, who've been publicly verbal with their dislike of the TV drama, are packing their bags and leaving the show for good, their co-star James Pickens Jr. told el"Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best," Pickens said. He also confirmed Knight was on the way out too. "He's going too," Pickens said. "He just wanted to pursue other career paths."
Heigl has verbalized her disdain with the show in the past, complaining about story lines for her character Izzie Stevens. She even blamed the show's writers for her lack of an Emmy nomination last year.
Similarly, Knight has publicly complained about his lack of screen time and was reportedly threatening to leave the show earlier this season. ABC entertainment chief Stephen McPherson told TV critics last month that he expected Knight to return next season.
